We are excited to invite you to be part of a high-impact international initiative — the First Philippine Construction Business Mission to Singapore, taking place from 31 August – 05 September 2026, alongside the Built Environment Expo (BEX) Asia.

This Mission is part of our strategic campaign to position the Philippines as a trusted partner in construction and a leading hub for Architecture and Engineering Design and Services Outsourcing (AEDSO). This strategic activity is organized by the Philippine Overseas Construction Board, an implementing agency under the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines that is attached to the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in collaboration with the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) and the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Singapore.

Creating more opportunities for Filipino enterprises was at the heart of the Department of Trade and Industry’s discussions with the Singapore Manufacturing Federation.

Discussions explored ways to improve market access for Philippine SMEs and food exporters, while promoting the country as a reliable source of quality products and a strategic manufacturing hub in Southeast Asia. 🇵🇭

The discussion highlighted the Philippines’ readiness to support high-impact projects that strengthen supply chains and accelerate the country’s digital economy. 🇵🇭

As ASEAN navigates an increasingly complex global landscape, the Philippines underscored the importance of stronger regional cooperation during the ASEAN Conference 2026 organized by the Singapore Business Federation.

In a panel with Singapore Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong, DTI 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐀. 𝐑𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐞 advanced the country’s priorities as ASEAN Chair, highlighting opportunities to strengthen trade, accelerate digital transformation, empower MSMEs, and unlock the potential of the region’s creative economy. 🇵🇭

DTI 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐀. 𝐑𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐞 met with ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) executives to discuss the company’s ongoing expansion in the Philippines and its long-term investment plans in the country’s digital infrastructure.

The meeting also tackled opportunities to strengthen the Philippines’ position as a regional hub for AI, cloud services, and sustainable data center development. 🇵🇭

DTI 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐀. 𝐑𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐞 met with Love, Bonito Chief Executive Officer Dione Song to discuss the fashion brand’s continued expansion in the Philippines. The meeting covered updates on its recently opened TriNoma store, upcoming Cebu branch, and areas where the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) can further support its growing operations.

The discussions also explored opportunities to strengthen local value creation through potential collaborations with Filipino designers, reinforcing DTI’s commitment to attracting investments while promoting Philippine creativity and generating more opportunities for Filipinos. 🇵🇭
