Our veteran SLTC (RET) James Suresh spoke on the topic of Building a We-First Mindset at a special event called The Straits Connect for a group of Indian Scholars who are naturalized citizens. This took place at Amara Sanctuary Sentosa.
We are doing what we can to build a “We-first”mindset and Singapore’s social defence.

On 20 Aug 2026, our veterans were guests at the Specialist Cadets Graduation Parade, decked out in the SAFVL No. 1 attire. They engaged the graduating cadets and their parents, encouraging them for the journey ahead.

Our SAFVL veterans LTC (RET) Adam Hamzah and 1WO (RET) Moh Haniffa rounded up MCCY’s last sharing as part of this year's Racial and Religious Harmony Month at Tampines Changkat CC. They also participated in an engaging Q&A session with the audience. Well done veterans!

Our veterans have been value adding to the Former Ford Factory Tours with our own stories and lived experiences. SAF Units and organisations can request for our SAFVL C2D Ambassadors to facilitate their visits to the FFF.

On 16 Aug, our veteran LTC (RET) Swee Boon Chai engaged the families at the SAFRA NS Experience Camp (Navy Edition) at Safra Jurong.
He was also the reviewing officer of the passing out parade. The families were very inspired by his sharing and many mothers learnt about how they can contribute to our Total Defence beyond supporting those who serve NS.

On 15 August, our veteran 1WO (NS) Johnny Goh engaged the families of the SAFRA NS for Everyone Camp at Safra Choa Chu Kang. The youngest participants were only 3 years old!
There were many past and present NSmen. Johnny thanked the parents for bringing their children to have their first taste of NS.

𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐕𝐋 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝟐𝟓

On the 6th of December 25, a group of twenty-two SAF veterans gathered at the Botanical gardens to participate in a walk a jog as part of their effort to reach the goal of covering 60 km in support of the Army Challenge. A total of 57 veterans had signed up for the Army Challenge.
