🏰 Ste ljubitelj gradov in zgodb, ki jih piše čas? Grad Rihemberk, eden najpomembnejših srednjeveških gradov na Primorskem, vas popelje vse do svojih začetkov v 12. in 13. stoletju. Zgradili so ga Rihemberžani, kasneje pa so ga upravljali goriški grofje, Habsburžani in družina Lanthieri.

Sprehodite se po mogočnem obzidju, povzpnite se na stolp z razgledi, ki sežejo čez Vipavsko dolino, in odkrijte kotičke, kjer se prepletata preteklost in narava. V interpretacijskem centru boste spoznali bogato naravno dediščino območja in več kot 800-letno zgodovino gradu. To je izlet, ki navduši tako radovedne raziskovalce kot družine.

📍 Od 25. aprila dalje je grad odprt vsako soboto, nedeljo in praznike med 10. in 19. uro.

Za še bolj posebno doživetje lahko predhodno rezervirate tudi igrane oglede, kjer se dobesedno potopite v grajske zgodbe in življenje nekoč. Igrani ogledi so možni tudi izven urnika.

🏰 Are you a fan of castles and stories shaped by time?

Rihemberk Castle, one of the most important medieval castles in the Primorska region, takes you back to its origins in the 12th and 13th centuries. It was built by the Rihemberk family and later managed by the Counts of Gorizia, the Habsburgs, and the Lanthieri family.

Take a walk along its mighty walls, climb the tower for breathtaking views over the Vipava Valley, and discover hidden corners where history and nature intertwine. In the interpretation centre, you can explore the rich natural heritage of the area and over 800 years of the castle’s history. 📍 From April 25 onwards, the castle is open every Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday from 10:00 to 19:00.

For an even more immersive experience, you can also book guided theatrical tours in advance, where you’ll step into the stories and life of the castle. These tours are also available outside regular opening hours.

😍 Ko je grad zasijal v najlepši podobi, nas je Ošterija Branik razveselila s kosilom v prijetni senci grajskega parka 🥣🌲

😍 Once the castle was shining in all its glory, Ošterija Branik treated us to lunch in the pleasant shade of the castle park 🥣🌲

🥰 Na gradu Rihemberk se poslavljamo od sezone 2025 s spomini na najlepše dogodke 👋

📕 Eden najpomembnejših mejnikov je zagotovo dolgo pričakovani izid prve monografije gradu Rihemberk iz zbirke ZRC SAZU-ja Castellologica Slovenica. Avtorji so nam podarili izjemne, do sedaj skrite, vpoglede v preteklost pomembnega gradu 🔎🏰

💚 Evropska prestolnica kulture GO! 2025 je s pomladnim slavnostnim odprtjem sezone na grad Rihemberk prinesla izvirno interpretacijo sveta narave in netopirjev 👉 Zvočno skulpturo Neslišno – slišno, med netopirji 🦇 Grad pa je z vključitvijo v avtobusno linijo hop-on hop-off približala obiskovalcem Nove Gorice 🚍

✨️ Obdarjen s skrivnostno srednjeveško energijo in oskrbovan s pridnimi rokami domačinov ter uigrane ekipe zavoda Svitar, je grad v letošnjem letu osrečeval ljubitelje kulturne in naravne dediščine 🏰🤝🌿 Vodeni ogledi so potešili še tako ukaželjne, igrani ogledi pa so iz gostov ustvarjali nove ljubitelje gradov 👑

📆 Med dogodki, kot so Mednarodna noč netopirjev, Peš po poti dveh gradov – Rihemberka in Dornberga, pesniški večer Alje Furlan in drugi, je obiskovalce gotovo najbolj navdušil spektakularni koncert Tomija in Guštija v organizaciji Turističnega društva Branik 🎶🎤

🗺 Upravljavec gradu, Javni zavod za turizem Nova Gorica in Vipavska dolina je bdel tudi nad uspešnim povezovanjem z drugimi turističnimi ponudniki. Grad Rihemberk je povezal z gradovi širšega območja, v zanimivem turističnem produktu Plemenita potepanja 👀 Igra je zagotovo lahko odličen družinski izziv naslednje sezone 💪

⚒️ Tudi zaključek letošnje sezone pravzaprav ni zaključek, temveč nov začetek. Lastnica gradu, Mestna občina Nova Gorica, je s podpisom projekta ZA KRAS napovedala nadaljnjo obnovo gradu in naredila velik korak v lepo grajsko prihodnost🌹🏰💫

🥰 At Rihemberk Castle, we are saying farewell to the 2025 season with memories of the most memorable events 👋

📕 One of the most significant milestones is undoubtedly the long-awaited publication of the first monograph on Rihemberk Castle from the ZRC SAZU Castellologica Slovenica collection. The authors have given us exceptional, previously hidden insights into the past of this important castle 🔎🏰

💚 European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia brought an original interpretation of the world of nature and bats to Rihemberk Castle with the spring opening of the season 👉 the sound sculpture Inaudible – Audible, Among the Bats 🦇 The castle also brought itself closer to visitors to Nova Gorica by joining the hop-on hop-off bus line🚍

✨️ Endowed with mysterious medieval energy and supported by the hard-working locals and the well-coordinated team at the Svitar Institue, the castle has been delighting lovers of cultural and natural heritage this year 🏰🤝🌿 Guided tours have satisfied even the most curious visitors, while dramatized tours turned guests into new castle enthusiasts 👑

📆 Among events such as International Bat Night, Walking the Path of Two Castles – Rihemberk and Dornberg, Alja Furlan's poetry evening, and others, visitors were certainly most impressed by the spectacular concert by Tomi and Gušti, which was organized by the Turistično društvo Branik 🎶🎤

🗺 The castle operator, Public Institute for Tourism of Nova Gorica and Vipava Valley, also oversaw successful cooperation with other tourism providers. Rihemberk Castle has been linked with other castles in the wider area in an interesting tourist product called Noble Wanderings 👀 The game is sure to be a great family challenge for the next season 💪

⚒️ The end of this season is not really an end, but rather a new beginning. The owner of the castle, the Municipality of Nova Gorica, has announced further renovations by signing the ZA KRAS project, and taking a big step towards a bright future for the Rihemberk castle 🌹🏰💫

️Podpis partnerstva v projektu ZA KRAS 2! 🤝🏻

💚 Projekt ZA KRAS 2 je naravovarstveni projekt, namenjen izboljšanju stanja izbranih habitatnih tipov ter vrst na območjih Natura 2000 Kras in Dolina Branice. Vključuje kar 48 ukrepov, ki so usklajeni s cilji programa evropske kohezijske politike, na več kot 211 ha površin. 😄

🏰 V sklopu projekta ZA KRAS 2 bomo na gradu izvedli nekaj ključnih ukrepov, med katerimi so:
🛠️ obnova streh in stropnih konstrukcij, kar bo prispevala k zaščiti kotišč netopirjev,
💡 prilagoditev grajske razsvetljave za večjo varnost ter učinkovitejše sobivanje ljudi in živali
💧 obnova dveh vodnih teles – napajalnika in lokve,
📚 nadgradnja grajskih vsebin, ki bodo obiskovalcem predstavljale naravno dediščino območij Natura 2000,
🌿 ozaveščanje in vključevanje javnosti o pomenu projekta ZA KRAS 2

Izboljšave bodo v celoti financirane v okviru projekta ZA KRAS 2 👉🏻 40% sredstev bo prispeval Evropski sklad za regionalni razvoj, 60% pa Republika Slovenija 🇪🇺 🤝🏻 🇸🇮

Veselimo se pozitivnih sprememb, ki bodo še dodatno okrepile vlogo gradu Rihemberk kot prostora narave, kulturne dediščine in edinstvenih doživetij! 🦇❤️🏰

Partnership signing for the ZA KRAS 2 project! 🤝🏻

💚 The ZA KRAS 2 project is a nature conservation project aimed at improving the condition of selected habitat types and species in the Natura 2000 areas of Karst and Branica Valley. It includes 48 measures that are aligned with the objectives of the European Cohesion Policy program, covering more than 211 ha of land. 😄

🏰 As part of the ZA KRAS 2 project, we will implement several key measures at the castle, including:
🛠️ renovation of roofs and ceiling structures, which will contribute to the protection of bat roosts,
💡 adjustment of castle lighting for greater safety and more efficient coexistence of people and animals
💧 renovation of two water bodies - a water fountain and a pond,
📚 upgrading castle contents, which will present the natural heritage of Natura 2000 areas to visitors,
🌿 raising awareness and involving the public about the importance of the ZA KRAS 2 project

The improvements will be fully financed within the ZA KRAS 2 project 👉🏻 40% of the funds will be contributed by the European Regional Development Fund, and 60% by the Republic of Slovenia 🇪🇺 🤝🏻 🇸🇮

We look forward to positive changes that will further strengthen the role of Rihemberk Castle as a place of nature, cultural heritage and unique experiences! 🦇❤️🏰
