Week-Long Cleanliness Campaign – Day 4

Under the guidance of the Provincial Government and Deputy Commissioner Malakand Mr. Fayaz Khan Sherpao the District Youth Office Malakand in collaboration with Oxford College Batkhela conducted the 4th-day cleanliness activity on 3rd September 2026 as part of the Week-Long Cleanliness Campaign (31st August–6th September 2026).

An awareness session was also organized at Oxford College Hall Batkhela focusing on cleanliness dengue prevention responsible waste management and the importance of maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment.

The activity focused on cleaning the college premises and surrounding areas ensuring proper waste disposal and removing potential mosquito breeding sites.

As part of the Dengue Prevention and Awareness Campaign awareness pamphlets were distributed and displayed at various shops and public locations including shops near the NADRA Office Batkhela and along Bypass Road.

Awareness banners were also displayed at prominent locations across Malakand to educate the public about dengue prevention and control measures.

More than 92 students, faculty members, officials and community volunteers actively participated in the activity. During the campaign 34 spots were cleaned and covered.

The activity aimed to strengthen community awareness encourage responsible waste management and support ongoing efforts to prevent dengue and other vector-borne diseases.

The activity focused on cleaning office premises and surrounding areas ensuring proper waste disposal removing potential mosquito-breeding sites and promoting a clean, safe and healthy environment.

As part of the Dengue Prevention and Awareness Campaign awareness pamphlets were distributed and displayed at various shops and locations including shops near Safdar Shah Filling Station and Piran Bazar Malakand.

Awareness banners were also displayed at prominent locations across Malakand to educate the public about dengue prevention and control measures.

More than 29 officials ,TMA staff and community volunteers actively participated in the activity during which 19 spots were cleaned and covered.

The activity aimed to strengthen community awareness encourage responsible waste management and support ongoing efforts to prevent dengue and other vector borne diseases.

The activity focused on cleaning institution premises and surrounding areas ensuring proper waste disposal removing potential mosquito-breeding sites and promoting a clean, safe and healthy environment.

As part of the Dengue Prevention and Awareness Campaign awareness pamphlets were distributed and displayed at various shops and locations including the shops,main bus station and Batkhela Bazar.

Awareness banners were also displayed at various prominent locations in Batkhela and at the institution to educate the public on dengue prevention and control measures.

More than 56 officials and volunteers from the Rehan Technical Institute actively participated in the activity during which 31 spots were cleaned and covered.

The activity aimed to strengthen community awareness encourage responsible waste management and support ongoing efforts to prevent dengue and other vector-borne diseases.

Under the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner Malakand Mr. Fayaz Khan Sherpao and the Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs Peshawar a Two-Week IT Professional Skills Training Course was organized by theDistrict Youth Office Malakand in collaboration with Fixit Organization and the District Administration Malakand.

The closing and certificate distribution ceremony was held on 1 September 2026 at Excellence Academy Dargai. More than 100 students successfully completed the training and were awarded certificates.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Pir Muhammad Islam former Chairman Tehsil Dargai who represented Mr. Pir Musavir Khan Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Forests & Environment along with Mr. Muhammad Rasool Mr. Iqtidar Ali Khan Mr. Basir Ullah Mr. Siddiq Ahmad faculty members and other distinguished guests.

The guests appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of IT and professional skills in enhancing employability, entrepreneurship and career opportunities for young people. They also encouraged the participants to continue developing their skills and make positive contributions to society.

At the conclusion of the ceremony certificates were distributed among the successful participants while shields and gifts were presented to distinguished guests and contributors in recognition of their valuable support and participation.

Awareness flexes were also displayed at different prominent locations to educate the public about dengue prevention and control measures.

More than 36 officials and volunteers actively participated in the activity while 26 spots were cleaned and covered during the campaign.

The activity aimed to strengthen community awareness encourage responsible waste management and support ongoing efforts to prevent dengue and other vector-borne diseases.

As per the Provincial Government’s directives the Week-Long Cleanliness Campaign will be observed from 31 August to 6 September 2026.
The District Youth Office Malakand has initiated the cleanliness campaign today and will continue activities throughout the week to promote a clean, healthy and beautiful environment.
