Week-Long Cleanliness Campaign – Day 4
Under the guidance of the Provincial Government and Deputy Commissioner Malakand Mr. Fayaz Khan Sherpao the District Youth Office Malakand in collaboration with Oxford College Batkhela conducted the 4th-day cleanliness activity on 3rd September 2026 as part of the Week-Long Cleanliness Campaign (31st August–6th September 2026).
An awareness session was also organized at Oxford College Hall Batkhela focusing on cleanliness dengue prevention responsible waste management and the importance of maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment.
The activity focused on cleaning the college premises and surrounding areas ensuring proper waste disposal and removing potential mosquito breeding sites.
As part of the Dengue Prevention and Awareness Campaign awareness pamphlets were distributed and displayed at various shops and public locations including shops near the NADRA Office Batkhela and along Bypass Road.
Awareness banners were also displayed at prominent locations across Malakand to educate the public about dengue prevention and control measures.
More than 92 students, faculty members, officials and community volunteers actively participated in the activity. During the campaign 34 spots were cleaned and covered.
The activity aimed to strengthen community awareness encourage responsible waste management and support ongoing efforts to prevent dengue and other vector-borne diseases.
