„Georgia on EUropean Way“ is a project implemented by the GLOBSEC Policy Institute (SAC http://www.ata-sac.org/) in Georgia in period from March 2016 – March 2017 with the support of the SlovakAid. (http://www.slovakaid.sk/) The project has an ambition, with the help of sharing Slovak experience, to support the improvement of cooperation between civil society and state institutions in Georgia, es
pecially in matters related to the European integration. The project aims to build on the initiative of the Georgian government regarding the creation of the platform for more effective participation of civil society in the process of Georgia's association with the EU. The proposed project will create space for discussion of European issues at the expert level between civil society and state institutions involved in the European integration of Georgia. The second objective of the project is to improve the capacity of the Georgian state administration in organizing large, international, expert conferences through know-how and experience of the GPI. Within this project the GPI has an ambition to offer own experience and capacities to assist the Office State Minister of Georgia for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration ((http://www.eu-nato.gov.ge/) with organizing the conference "Georgia's European Way" (http://ge-europeanway.com/en) in July 2016. The timing of the conference conveniently coincides with beginning of the Slovak Presidency in the Council of the EU, which creates space both for presentation of the Slovak Republic as well as the Slovak presidency in Georgia and in the South Caucasus region. Due to the extensive experience of the GPI in field of organizing of conferences consist the project also of the aspect of transfer of know-how in this field, in order to improve capacities of Georgian experts from state administrations, who deal with organizing such events. The third aspect of the project is the involvement of the civil society and the general public in the process of association of Georgia with the EU through raising awareness about EU and debunking some myths and misperceptions about the Union. Informed civil society and the public are able to fully exploit benefits stemming from the implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU. Raising awareness will be realized in form of public discussions in regions of Georgia – through informal so-called „European Caffé Tours“. The young Georgian generation and universities’ students will also be involved in raising awareness in regions of Georgia about the EU through project activity entitled „Young EU Ambassadors.“

პროექტის მეორე ამოცანა ითვალისწინებს გლობსეკის პოლიტიკის ინსტიტუტის გამოცდილებაზე დაყრდნობით, საქართველოს სახელმწიფო ადმინისტრაციის შესაძლებლობების გაზრდას დიდი, საერთაშორისო კონფერენციების ორგანიზების კუთხით. პროექტის ფარგლებში გლობსეკის პოლიტიკის ინსტიტუტი დახმარებას გაუწევს სახელმწიფო მინისტრის აპარატს ევროპულ და ევროატლანტიკურ სტრუქტურებში ინტეგრაციის საკითხებში (http://www.eu-nato.gov.ge/) 2016 წლის ივლისში დაგეგმილი ყოველწლიური კონფერენციის „საქართველოს ევროპული გზის“ (http://ge-europeanway.com/ge) ორგანიზებაში. აღსანიშნავია, რომ კონფერენციის თარიღი ემთხვევა სლოვაკეთის პრეზიდენტობის დასაწყისს ევროკავშირის საბჭოში. შესაბამისად, ღონისძიების ფარგლებში ასევე მოხდება სლოვაკეთის , როგორც პრეზიდენტი სახელმწიფოს წარდგენა საქართველოსა და სამხრეთ კავკასიის რეგიონში.
პროექტის მესამე ასპექტი ითვალისწინებს საქართველოს ევროკავშირთან ასოცირების პროცესში სამოქალაქო საზოგადოების ჩართულობას, მათი ცნობიერების ამაღლებას ევროკავშირთან დაკავშირებული საკითხების შესახებ, რაც გამოააშკარავებს საზოგადოებაში არსებულ ამჟამინდელ არასწორ შეხედულებებსა და მოლოდინებს. ინფორმირებულ სამოქალაქო საზოგადოებას შეუძლია სრულად გამოიყენოს ევროკავშირთან ასოცირებით შექმნილი ახალი შესაძლებლობები. კამპანიები განხორციელდება ევროპული კაფეების ფორმატში არაფორმალური საჯარო დისკუსიების სახით მთელი საქართველოს მასშტაბით. პროექტში ასევე ჩართული იქნებიან უნივერსიტეტის სტუდენტები, რომლებიც ევროკავშირის ახალგაზრდა ელჩების პროგრამის ფარგლებში საკუთარ წვლილს შეიტანენ ევროკავშირთან დაკავშირებული საკითხების შესახებ თანასწორთა განათლებაში.
