CHIEF ABDUL KADIRU KAIKAI ENGAGES THE WESTERN AREA MARKET WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP.
In a well-attended close and unified meeting, the grassroots voice and strength, Chief Abdul Kadiru Kaikai has engaged 96 market women Chair Ladies across Freetown. This engagement came as a result of leaving no stone untouched for the RE~ELECTION of His Excellency the President, Rtd Brigadier Julius Maada Bio, and to also give an advantage to the SLPP thereby securing a majority seat for MP's come 2023 Presidential and Parliamentary Race.
Chief Abdul Kadiru Kaikai expressed delight to the Freetown Market women's leadership for honoring his call amidst their busy schedules and hunt for daily survival. He went further by putting out to all present that the call is to encourage and formally call on them to fully come together as traders in the Western area and support President Bio's and the SLPP government's continuity agenda for Sierra Leone.
The grassroots unifier, Chief Kadiru Kakai used the gathering to state the many developmental strives of President Bio and his government, especially in areas that have to do with women's empowerment such as the cash transfer to traders during the COVID-19, the MUNAFA support project that's is going on in many District to provide livelihood support to market women and traders in the country, the newly gender act which has been passed by parliament and similarly admonished them to refrain from any violence which is most often staged by opposition parties especially the APC to create unrest in the Country.
A host of speakers expresses thankfulness to Chief Abdul Kadiru Kaikai for the respectful call stating that he is the first person to have formally met with their leadership and request their support and vote for President Bio and the SLPP come next year's general elections. The Leadership of the western area market women pledged to cajole their members to consider the request from Chief Kadiru Kaikai bcoz of the sincerity of his message to them and most importantly, the respect put on to them not only as traders but also as son to them bcoz his mother was once a petty trader for years.
