MY DECISION AND OATH
I have made my decision to run for the APC party’s 6th Region - the Diaspora Regional Secretary-General through the consultation of God, my mind and soul, family and friends, and the very structure and pillars that hold the APC party both nationally and internationally in the diaspora. I can’t aspire for such a paramount responsibility of a well-dignified political party with excellent leadership, and political and economic development without me following such footsteps by preparing a strategic campaign plan and how it will be implemented to uphold and maintained the structure and legacy of those who paved the road for us to where we are today and for tomorrow.
I do believe that the responsibility I am about to take needs a well-organized, planned, determined person with virtue, and integrity standards as a representative of the APC 6th Region of the Diaspora and in him, all responsibilities lie on and are accountable to those he served. And I do believe that the planning process is as important as the plan itself. A strong process allows me to think through each element of the campaign, what resources I will need, what obstacles I will face, and what activities I will engage in on a daily basis to achieve my goals. Knowing that anticipating each of these elements in advance creates a strategic advantage and means that my campaign will be in a better position to maximize available resources and manage any surprises that come up along the way.
My expertise in administrative and leadership affairs for more than 14 years as a civil servant for the Republic of Sierra Leone, Community base leadership and as a self-employed Chief Executive Officer of the VSK Group of Companies will be used to take the APC party and 6th Region the Diaspora to the sky. I am giving assurance to the party leadership, and the diaspora leadership that I will be very useful to them by serving them to the best of my ability, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, patience and love.
With me Victor Sullay Kamara as Secretary General, the diaspora will be a stress-free executive of well-structured administration. A communicative man, a well listener with patience, and an eloquent, and dignified and strategist man. I will bring a broader smile and hope to the aspiring National Chairman of the Diaspora and his whole executive body.
