The Leadership of National Assets and Government’s Property Commission Witnesses the Commissioning of the Julius Maada Bio International Conference Centre

Lungi, 18th July 2026 - The Chairman/Commissioner of the National Assets and Government's Property Commission (NAGPC), Mr David Panda-Noah, together with the Secretary to the Commission, Mr Kanja Ibrahim Sesay, witnessed the official commissioning of the Julius Maada Bio International Conference Centre. This landmark national infrastructure project reflects the Government of Sierra Leone's commitment to promoting investment, tourism, international diplomacy, and economic growth. The state-of-the-art conference facility is expected to serve as a premier venue for hosting high-level national, regional, and international conferences, summits, exhibitions, and business engagements. Its commissioning represents another significant milestone in the country's infrastructure development agenda.

The presence of the Chairman/Commissioner and the Secretary underscores the National Assets and Government's Property Commission's continued commitment to safeguarding, monitoring, and promoting the effective management of strategic state assets. The engagement aims at enhancing accountability, transparency, and effective management of government assets by ensuring that all MDAs maintain accurate and up-to-date records of public property. The Commission encourages all institutions to comply promptly with the submission requirements, as this is essential for safeguarding national assets and promoting good governance.
