The Library of the Anton de Kom University of Suriname consists of the Central Library (CB) and the department of Medical Information (MI), and supplies scientific information concerning the disciplines that are part of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Technological Sciences. Mission The University Library offers an excellent contribution to scientific information supply, focused on sustainable development of the AdeKUS. Vision The University Library provides innovative information services, partnered with students, lecturers and researchers of the AdeKUS for the advancement of university education and research in Suriname.

COVID-19 kent nieuwe symptomen
Dagelijks komt er nieuwe informatie bij over het COVID-19 virus. De samenleving wordt verzocht nu ook alert te zijn bij symptomen als vermoeidheid, kriebels in de keel, smaak- en/of reukverlies. Dit zijn nieuwe symptomen die zijn toegevoegd aan de eerdere, zoals koorts, hoesten en niezen.
Degenen die pas naar het buitenland zijn geweest of in contact zijn gekomen met een COVID-19 positief geteste persoon, worden verzocht contact op te nemen met hun huisarts of de speciale hulplijn 178.
