Today, Comrade Riang Minyiel Tut, SPLM Youth League Chairperson for Ruweng, paid a visit to the National SPLM Youth League Chairperson Cde Puok Bol Par to brief him on Youth league Activities in Ruweng Administrative Area.

The Chairperson of the SPLM Youth League for Ruweng Administrative Area, Comrade Riang Minyiel, today held a high-level consultative meeting with the National Chairperson of the SPLM Youth League Cde Puok Bol Par in Juba.
The meeting focused on strengthening youth mobilization structures, enhancing political participation of young people, and reviewing ongoing youth-led initiatives in Ruweng Administrative Area.
Comrade Riang Minyiel briefed the National Chairperson on the progress of SPLM Youth League activities in Ruweng, highlighting increased grassroots engagement, peacebuilding efforts among communities, and youth involvement in local development programs. He emphasized the need for greater institutional support, capacity building, and resources to expand youth programs across counties in the Ruweng.
He further underscored the importance of unity among Youth structures, stating that cohesive organization is essential for advancing the SPLM’s vision of peace, stability, and socio-economic development.
The National SPLM Youth League Chairperson comrade Puok Bol Par commended the efforts of the Ruweng Youth League leadership for their commitment to mobilization and peace advocacy.
He reaffirmed the National Secretariat’s readiness to support Youth initiatives, particularly in areas of leadership training, political education, and entrepreneurship development.
Both comrades agreed on the importance of regular coordination between national and state-level youth structures to ensure effective implementation of youth programs and alignment with the broader objectives of the SPLM.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening the role of youth as key drivers of peace, development, and political stability in South Sudan, with particular attention to expanding opportunities for young people in Ruweng Administrative Area.
