The Political Parties Youth Forum participated and signed as a witness to the declaration of Fundamental Principles for the December 2026 Electons by the National Alliance of Political Parties (NAOPP).

This event was conducted at Dembesh Hotel in Juba, today 30th July, 2026.

The Political Parties Youth Forum had a fruitful series of discussions with Hon. Agok Makur Kur, the Minister of Energy and Dams and the Secretary General of the SPLM IO and Hon. Prof. Abenago Akok Kacuol, the chairperson of the National Elections Commission.

The PPYF leaders briefed them on the outcomes of the Political Parties Youth Forum two days dialogue and peaceful elections in December.

On his part, Hon. Agok and Prof.Akok Appreciates the role played by PPYF in engaging the Youths making the upcoming peaceful and democratic.

The delegation headed by Charles Obaj Adwok - the Chair of PPYF, Adhar Bol Awak - the Spokesman together with Khamis Nyawella - the Chairman of SPLM IO Youth League, Mano Augustino from SSDF -National Agenda Parties.
The day was marked by significant success.

This evening at 5:00 pm, our team was at the Radio Miraya discussing roles of Political Parties Youth in the December general election.
The team was headed by
1. Mr. Adhar Bol Awak, the secretary for Information & Communication of PPYF and Member of the SPLM
2. Mr. Khamis Nyawella Nyapug, the Interim Chairman of the SPLM IO youth League
3. Mr. Gaji Emmanuel Kape, the NRP secretary for Youth and Students Affairs.

This discussion was hosted by Mr. Gabriel Joseph Chadar - of Nationwhite Program.

The Political Parties Youth Forum headed by its Chairperson Mr. Charles Obaj Adwok, Mr Adhar and Mr. Walak paid a courtesy to my office seeking areas of cooperation towards peaceful democratic transition. They reaffirmed their support towards modern politics. I assured them of my full support to engage young people in politics.

The Political Parties Youth Forum concludes the two day workshop in Juba, South Sudan today at Juba Grand Hotel.

The programs was closed by Rt. Hon. Joseph Ngere Paciko, the Speaker of Transitional National Legislative Assembly - TNLA along other dignatories includes, Hon. Pia Philip Michael, the Undersecretary for the ministry of peacebuilding, Hon. Anna Samuel Pham, Member of TNLA standing specialized Committee on Youth and Sports, Mama Alokiir Malual Aguer from Civil Society Alliance, Cde. Charles Obaj Adwok, Chairman of the Political Parties Youth Forum (PPYF) and the leaders from all the Political Parties including the CSOs.

The program concluded with communique signing the representatives of Youth from respective political parties.
We PPYF appreciates the dignatories, Ministry of Peacebuilding, GMI and all the leaders of Political Parties Youth including CSOs representatives.

*PRESS STATEMENT ON THE ELECTIONS SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 2026 IN THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH SUDAN.*

1. Esteemed members of Political Parties Youth Forum present this letter as a token of gratitude to H.E Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit for initiating the dialogue that brought together leaders of parties and signatories to R-ARCISS to agree on key issues clearing the pathway to National democratic election in December 2026.

This milestone demonstrates our collective dedication to democracy and the people’s right to choose their leaders. We call on all our citizens to participate in this crucial process and exercise their democratic rights to vote.

2. Conclusively, the PPYF Leadership urge the Political Parties leaders and their Youth in particular to embrace and support this process through available political institutions in the country. We also appeal to our leaders in Political Parties to provide conducive environment for our people to freely participate in the forth coming democratic exercise without fear and favor, this call signifies the principles of democracy where everyone is granted opportunity by law to vote and be voted for.
