JEDCO MOURNS THE LOSS OF OUR COLLEAGUE, ADOGO SEBIT
It is with deep sorrow and sadness that Juba Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (JEDCO) mourns the passing of our beloved colleague, Adogo Sebit, who passed away on 14th October 2026.
His passing is a great loss to us all and to the entire JEDCO family. We share in this moment of grief and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and everyone who knew and worked with him.
As we mourn together, our thoughts and prayers are with his bereaved family and loved ones. May God give us all the strength and comfort to face this painful loss, and may He bring peace to our hearts during this difficult time.
Though Adogo is no longer with us, the memories we shared with him will remain in our hearts. He will always be remembered as a valued member of our JEDCO family.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.

JEDCO operation team will temporarily interrupt electricity supply to facilitate the connection of new transformers on Feeder E and Feeder F, as follows:
FIRST TASK – FEEDER E

- 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Affected Areas: Hai Cinema, Hai Neem, Hai Mobil, Nimratalata, Atlabara B, Hai Thoura, Nyakuron East & West, Suk Sitta, Giada, University of Juba, Jebel market, Jaborona and Khor Walliang Partial.

As previously communicated, temporary power rationing remains in effect from 15 September to 15 October 2026 due to the ongoing major overhaul of the power plant.
Please find attached the Week 4 Power Rationing Schedule, covering 9–15 October 2026, showing the affected feeders, areas, and scheduled outage times.
• Schedule: 9–15 October 2026
• Daily Outage Time: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Customers are kindly advised to plan their activities accordingly and charge their phones and other essential devices in advance.

POWER RESTORATION NOTICE – FEEDER C
Dear Valued Customers,
We are pleased to inform you that electricity supply has been fully restored following the earlier outage on Feeder C, which was caused by a billboard structure collapsing onto the medium-voltage (MV) line during strong winds.
Power has been restored to the following areas:
Juba Town (partial), Hai Jalaba, Hai Gabat, Juba Nabari, Tongpiny (partial), Gudele All, Gurei, Hai Referendum, Hai Yaba Paul, Hai Eden, Joppa, Munuki (Blocks A, B and C), Mia Saba and Hai Mangateen.
Our technical team worked to repair the damage and bring the line back into service. We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Strong winds have caused a large billboard structure to collapse onto the medium-voltage (MV) line, disrupting electricity supply to the following areas:
Juba Town (partial), Hai Jalaba, Hai Gabat, Juba Nabari, Tongpiny (partial), Gudele All, Gurei, Hai referendum, hai Yaba paul, hai eden, Joppa, Munuki (Blocks A, B and C) & Mia Saba and hai Mangateen.
Our technical team is working to repair the damage and restore power. Electricity supply is expected to be restored by tomorrow morning.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.
