We are pleased to inform the public that the 319 Customer Care Hotline has been fully restored and is now operational.
Customers can now dial 319 to report power outages, electrical faults, emergencies, and other electricity-related concerns.
Customers can also conveniently report power faults and access JEDCO services through:
- JEDCO Utility App
- JEDCO WhatsApp Self-Service
We encourage our customers to make use of these channels for quick and convenient reporting and access to customer services.

Temporary Interruption of JEDCO 319 Customer Care Hotline
Dear Valued Customers,
Juba Electricity Distribution Company (JEDCO) wishes to inform the public that the 319 Customer Care Hotline is currently experiencing a technical interruption. As a result, customers may temporarily be unable to reach us through 319 to report electricity-related emergencies and faults.
Our technical team is working closely with the integrator to restore the 319 service as soon as possible.
In the meantime, customers can report power-related emergencies and faults through:
- GSM: +211 928 786 003
- JEDCO Utility App – available for download (JEDCO Utility App - Apps on Google Play)
For other customer service enquiries, customers may continue to use:
- JEDCO WhatsApp Self-Service – please scan the attached QR code.

In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Colleague

It is with profound sadness that Juba Electricity Distribution Company (JEDCO) announces the passing of our beloved colleague, Mrs. Silvia Emmanuel Esbaya, who faithfully served as an Office Cleaner in the HR & Admin Department.

Mrs. Silvia tragically lost her life on 3rd August 2026 when the vehicle she was travelling in with family members was ambushed by unknown gunmen while returning to Juba from Mundri.

Silvia will be remembered for her dedication, humility, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her work. She touched many lives and will always remain in our hearts.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management, and Staff of JEDCO, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, relatives, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

She will be remembered. She will be deeply missed. She will forever remain part of the JEDCO family.

KNOW JEDCO'S OFFICIAL ELECTRICITY TARIFF
Dear Valued Customers,
Please note that JEDCO's electricity tariff is officially set in United States Dollars (USD) per kilowatt-hour (USD/kWh). Customers may purchase electricity tokens in either USD or South Sudanese Pounds (SSP), depending on their preference.
Important Information
• The official electricity tariff is fixed in USD.
• Customers paying in SSP are charged based on the prevailing daily parallel market exchange rate.
• Example: USD 0.273 × SSP 7,500 = SSP 2,047.50 per kWh.
• As exchange rates fluctuate, the amount payable in SSP may vary, while the official tariff in USD remains unchanged.
Please note: The current tariff structure has been effective since 1 November 2025 and remains unchanged.
Please refer to the official tariff structure before purchasing electricity tokens.
