GRANTING OF THREE (3) SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UNDERGRADUATE & POSTGRADUATE STUDIES IN GREEK UNIVERSITIES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2026-2027

1. Eligibility
Syrians and Greek expatriate permanent residents in Syria, who do not receive a scholarship benefit through another programme.
2. Supporting documents for undergraduate studies (all documents in Arabic must be legally certified and translated into Greek)
- Application, containing the University preferences (up to 3 choices per applicant)
- Curriculum Vitæ
- Certificate of Greek language proficiency (if applicable)
- Certificate of marital status of candidates and birth certificates of parents, legally validated
- Certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research that her/his academic title entitles her/him to enroll in a Higher Educational Institution of Syria
- Certificate from the Greek Embassy in Damascus, that the scholarship candidate and her/his parents have been residing abroad for at least five (5) years prior to the academic year of her/his selection as a scholarship holder and that her/his parents are not employees of the Greek State, permanent or on contract (in the case of an expatriate)
- 1 ID photo
- Photocopies of the pages of the applicant’s passport
3. Additional supporting documents for postgraduate studies:
- University diploma (recognised by the Greek state, as per the DOATAP prerequisites, https://mitroa.doatap.gr/?locale=en)
- Certificate from a Greek University/School or Department that they have been accepted to a specific Greek-speaking, no-fee postgraduate study programme
4. Deadline of submitting supporting documents
Applications are submitted to the Greek Embassy in Damascus within 30 days of the publication of the invitation and, in any case, no later than 27/07/2026.
Note: Candidates’ applications will not be accepted if they are not properly completed or are not accompanied by all the required supporting documents.
GENERAL INFORMATION
A. Duration of scholarship
- One academic year for the B2 Greek language programme, if needed.
- N+2 years of study, where n is the minimum period required to obtain a degree depending on each school (for undergraduate studies)
- N years, where n is the minimum period required to obtain a master’s degree (for postgraduate studies)
B. Benefits
- Monthly allowance (650.00 euros)
- Tuition exemption for Greek language courses
- Free books (except for the Greek Language School)
C. Obligations
- In the event that the student attends Greek language courses, the scholarship is renewed provided that the scholar has received the certificate of Greek proficiency during the spring or fall exam period (May or September respectively), within a year from the start of the courses.
- The scholarship allowance is paid only if the scholars achieve a percentage of 50% in the first year of studies, 60% in the second year and 70% in the third year, and up to the n+2 year, on the courses or credit units corresponding to the courses of the year of studies or to the academic obligations, such as mandatory internships and thesis.
- Scholarship holders must attend their classes on a regular basis and attend all examination periods, demonstrating consistency and stability in their performance.
D. Supporting documents for payment of scholarship allowance, in case of selection
- Photocopy of passport pages
- Copy of the scholarship holder’s Greek bank account, indicating the account number (IBAN) and the beneficiary’s name
- Copy of detailed transcript, showing the scholarship holder’s performance or certificate of completion of studies or degree
- An affidavit stating that they, the scholarship holders:
a) are required to submit to the E3 Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the required certificates of studies and supporting documents;
b) are required to participate in all examination periods;
c) have been informed that their scholarship will be renewed provided that they achieve the aforementioned required performance percentage per academic year, in accordance with A.P.F. 1700/AS 225/21.05.2025 Decision of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs;
d) have received the portion of the scholarship to which they are entitled from the start of its disburse until the day of payment; and
e) do not receive another scholarship benefit through another programme.

توفير ثلاث (3) منح دراسية للدراسات الجامعية والدراسات العليا في الجامعات اليونانية للسنة الدراسية 2026-2027

1. شروط الأهلية: أن يكون المترشح سوري الجنسية (أو من في حكمه) أو يوناني مغترب دائم، على ألا يكون مستفيدًا من منحة دراسية عبر برنامج آخر.
2. الثبوتيات المطلوبة للدراسات الجامعية (جميع المستندات بالعربية يجب تصديقها أصولًا وترجمتها إلى اليونانية)
- استمارة طلب الالتحاق، متضمنة الفروع الجامعية المفضلة (3 خيارات كحد أقصى لكل متقدم)
- سيرة ذاتية علمية
- شهادة إتقان اللغة اليونانية (إن وُجدت)
- صورة عن قيد مدني فردي للمتقدم وبيان ولادة لكل من والديه، مصدقة أصولًا
- وثيقة إنهاء مرحلة التعليم الثانوية مع بيان مفصل بالدرجات المتحصَّل عليها
- إفادة من وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي تفيد بأن المؤهل الأكاديمي للمتقدم يؤهله للالتحاق بمؤسسة تعليم عالٍ في سوريا
- للمتقدمين اليونانيين المغتربين، شهادة من السفارة اليونانية في دمشق تفيد بأن المتقدم ووالديه أقاموا خارج اليونان مدة خمس (٥) سنوات على الأقل قبل السنة الدراسية التي يتم فيها اختياره للمنحة، وأن والديه ليسا موظفين في الدولة اليونانية، سواءٌ بصفة دائمة أم عبر تعاقد (في حالة المغتربين)
- صورة شخصية واحدة
- صورة عن صفحات جواز سفر المتقدم
3. ثبوتيات إضافية مطلوبة من المتقدمين للدراسات العليا (درجة الماجستير)
- شهادة جامعية (معترف بها من اليونان) وفقًا لمتطلبات برنامج DOATAP (https://mitroa.doatap.gr/?locale=en)
- شهادة من جامعة/كلية أو فرع دراسي يوناني تفيد بقبول الطالب في برنامج دراسات عليا محدَّد باللغة اليونانية مع إعفاء من رسوم دراسية.
4. الموعد النهائي لتقديم الثبوتيات: تُقدَّم الطلبات إلى السفارة اليونانية في دمشق في غضون 30 يومًا من تاريخ نشر الدعوة، وفي جميع الأحوال، في موعد أقصاه 27 تموز/يوليو 2026.
ملاحظة: لن تُقبل طلبات المترشحين غير المكتملة أو غير المرفقة بجميع الثبوتيات المطلوبة.
معلومات عامة
أ. مدة المنحة الدراسية
- سنة دراسية واحدة مخصصة لبرنامج اللغة اليونانية بمستوى B2، عند الحاجة.
- "ن+2" سنة دراسية، حيث "ن" هي الحد الأدنى للفترة المطلوبة للحصول على درجة الإجازة، وتختلف هذه الفترة باختلاف الجامعة (للدراسات الجامعية).
- "ن" سنة دراسية، حيث "ن" هي الحد الأدنى للفترة المطلوبة للحصول على درجة الماجستير (للدراسات العليا).
ب. المزايا
- بدل شهري (650 يورو)
- إعفاء من رسوم دورات اللغة اليونانية
- كتب مجانية (باستثناء كتب تعلُّم اللغة اليونانية)
ج. الالتزامات
- في حال التحاق الطالب بدورات اللغة اليونانية، تُجدَّد المنحة الدراسية بشرط حصوله على شهادة إتقان اللغة اليونانية في فترة امتحانات الربيع أو الخريف (أيار/مايو أو أيلول/سپتمبر، على التوالي)، وذلك في غضون سنة من بدء الدورات.
- يُصرَف بدل المنحة الدراسية فقط في حال حصول الطالب على نسبة 50% في السنة الدراسية الأولى، و60% في السنة الثانية، و70% في السنة الثالثة، وحتى السنة "ن+2"، في المقررات أو الوحدات الدراسية التي تتوافق مع مقررات السنة الدراسية أو مع الالتزامات الأكاديمية، مثل التدريب الإلزامي وكتابة الأطروحة.
د. المستندات المطلوبة لصرف بدل المنحة، في حال اختيار المترشح:
- صورة عن صفحات جواز السفر
- نسخة من كشف حساب بنكي يوناني للحاصل على المنحة، موضحًا رقم الحساب (IBAN) واسم المستفيد
- نسخة من كشف الدرجات المفصل، يوضح أداء الفائز على المنحة أو شهادة إتمام الدراسة أو الدرجة العلمية
- إقرار خطي يفيد بأن الحاصل على المنحة:
أ) ملزم بتقديم شهادات الدراسة والمستندات المطلوبة إلى مديرية E3 بوزارة الخارجية؛
ب) ملزم بالمشاركة في جميع الدورات الامتحانية؛
ج) تم إبلاغه بتجديد منحته الدراسية شريطة تحقيقه النسبة المئوية المطلوبة للأداء لكل عام دراسي، وفقًا لقرار نائب وزير الخارجية رقم A.P.F. 1700/AS 225/21.05.2025؛
د) أن يكون قد استلم الجزء المستحق له من المنحة الدراسية منذ بداية صرفها وحتى يوم الدفع؛ و
هـ) ألا يتلقى أي منحة دراسية أخرى عبر برنامج آخر.
