Standing Together Against Gender-Based Violence
Today, Piggs Peak Town Council, in partnership with the Deputy Prime Minister's Office (DPM's Office), Royal Eswatini Police Service, SWAGAA and other key stakeholders engaged residents through a Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Awareness Campaign at the Piggs Peak Bus Rank, reaffirming our collective commitment to building a community free from violence and abuse.
The awareness campaign provided residents with valuable information on the different forms of Gender-Based Violence, available support services, and the importance of reporting abuse. Community members were also encouraged to stand together in promoting respect, equality, and the protection of vulnerable groups.
Piggs Peak Town Council extends its sincere appreciation to the DPM's Office, REPS, SWAGAA and other key stakeholders for their collaboration and unwavering commitment to ending Gender-Based Violence. We also thank every resident who took the time to engage with us and be part of this important initiative.
Together, we can break the silence, report abuse, support survivors, and create a safer, stronger Piggs Peak for everyone.
