For Immediate Release

The Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority (TCIAA) wishes to advise the aviation community of an important update regarding NOTAM publication for the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Effective Wednesday, 13 May at 12:00 p.m., NOTAM publication for the Turks and Caicos Islands transitioned from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) platform to the UK NOTAM Office (NATS), under the U Series NOTAM classification.
As a result, stakeholders searching for Turks and Caicos Islands NOTAMs through the FAA’s traditional NOTAM source will no longer find current NOTAM publications there.

All active and newly issued NOTAMs for the Turks and Caicos Islands should now be accessed through the UK NOTAM Office / NATS U Series until TCIAA’s own AIM/AMHS capability is commissioned.
This transition ensures continuity of formal NOTAM publication while TCIAA progresses the implementation of its own aeronautical information management systems as part of the broader national aviation modernization programme.

At this time, there is no interruption to air traffic operations or safety-critical services. Operational information will continue to be communicated through established Air Traffic Control channels as required.
Stakeholders are kindly asked to ensure that dispatch, flight planning, and operational teams are made aware of this change in publication source to avoid confusion or missed operational information.
TCIAA thanks all stakeholders for their continued cooperation and support.
