Andrews International School, Green Valley is a unique school. It is located between Pattaya and Rayong on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand. With a population of around 450 students, from over 35 countries, we are able to maintain the family feel but are still able to offer the opportunities, diversity and educational excellence of a larger school. We provide a challenging and broad educational pr

ogramme for children from Nursery (two year olds) right up to International Baccalaureate Diploma Level (18 years olds). We provide a stimulating, child-centred learning environment for our students. In Primary the students follow the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) integrated with the principles of the English National Curriculum to provide the best of international learning. Teachers facilitate opportunities for hands-on learning and exploration through the inquiry process, setting high expectations and opportunities to work independently. Students in our Secondary School complete IGCSEs in Year 10 and 11 and we follow the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) in Years 12 and 13 as this challenges students and provides an excellent preparation for university courses around the world. The Secondary curriculum is broad and balanced, encouraging active participation in all areas so that students flourish in this environment. Andrews International Schools in Thailand are part of Cognita, a global school network of 68 schools in eight countries and over 30,000 students worldwide. Providing excellent teaching and supporting every child to achieve their potential are the cornerstones of a Cognita education.

🌸 Nursery Trip to Rayong Flower Hall 🌸

Our Nursery students recently enjoyed a wonderful trip to Rayong Flower Hall, where they explored the beauty of nature through colouful flowers, plants, and exciting outdoor experiences 🌼✨

The children had the opportunity to observe different types of flowers, learn about nature, and enjoy spending time together outside the classroom. It was a joyful day filled with curiosity, smiles, and hands-on learning experiences.

Trips like these help support children’s communication, observation, and social skills while encouraging a love of learning about the world around them 💚

We are so proud of our Nursery students for their enthusiasm and fantastic behavior throughout the day! 🌷😊

In Year 7 History, students are learning about how travel, trade, and exploration have shaped the world throughout history. As part of their study of the Silk Roads, students have been investigating how trade connected Europe and Asia over 1,000 years ago, helping to spread goods, ideas, religions, and cultures across continents.

To help students visualise the enormous distances involved, students took part in an outdoor scaling activity around the school campus. Using maths and map skills, they measured the journey from Venice to Quanzhou and placed key Silk Road cities along the route.

The activity helped students develop their understanding of geography, trade, cultural exchange, and the challenges faced by merchants travelling across the medieval world.

🥭🍚 Year 9 mango sticky rice 🍚🥭

Year 9 had a fantastic time exploring Thai culture through a hands-on cooking activity at Forest School 😊🌿

The students learned how to make traditional Thai mango sticky rice from scratch, beginning with collecting fresh pandan leaves to create the natural colouring and fragrance for the sticky rice 🍃✨ They then worked together to prepare the ingredients, make the coconut sauce, slice the mangoes, and carefully present their desserts.

Throughout the activity, students showed great teamwork, creativity, and cooperation while building confidence in the kitchen 👏💛 It was wonderful to see everyone actively participating, supporting one another, and enjoying the learning experience together.

A delicious and memorable day for Year 9! 🌈🥭🍚
