Opportunity Cost 💵
There is no free lunch!! 🍔❌
เห็น A เกิดพร้อม B ไม่ได้แปลว่า A ทำให้เกิด B
ต้องแยก Correlation 🔀 กับ Causation 🔁

📚 Let's Think About “What Makes Someone an Economist?” 🤔
🧮🤓 What are the signs of an Economist Native?
1️⃣ Always asks, “What is the trade-off?”
Because getting one thing usually means giving up another.
💵 Opportunity Cost comes naturally.
2️⃣ Doesn't believe in the word “free.”
🍔❌ Because There Is No Free Lunch.
Everything has a cost — even if someone else is paying for it.
3️⃣ Focuses on the margin, not just the total.
🌱 Marginal Thinking becomes second nature.
The key question is often:
“What happens if we do a little more or a little less?”
4️⃣ Doesn't just ask, “Can we do it?”
But asks:
💡 “Is it worth doing?”
Because possible ≠ worthwhile.
5️⃣ Sees human behavior through incentives.
🩷 “What incentive is driving this decision?”
Economists know that incentives matter.
6️⃣ Never looks at a number without asking, “Compared to what?”
1️⃣2️⃣9️⃣
📉 Numbers alone rarely tell the whole story.
They need context, benchmarks, and baselines.
7️⃣ Doesn't immediately assume cause and effect.
🔀 Just because A and B happen together
doesn't mean A causes B.
🔁 Economists are trained to distinguish between Correlation and Causation.
