From December 13–15, 2024, the Apostolic Nuncio joined with The Most Reverend Anthony Weradet Chaiseri, Archbishop of Thare-Nongseng, for the 84th Anniversary of the Blessed Seven Martyrs of Songkhon at Our Lady of the Martyrs of Thailand Shrine in Sakon Nakhon. The event honored the martyrs' sacrifice and faith, which continue to inspire generations.

They also visited several places within the archdiocese including St. Peter Church in That Phanom, the House of the Sisters Lovers of the Cross in Songkhon, St. Joseph Church, Assumption School, and the Parish of St. Francis de Sales.

The example of the Holy Martyrs of Thailand is an inspiration to all the faithful in living their faith with courage and devotion and encourage the youth to strive in all aspects of life to use their talents to make a difference.

The Apostolic Nunciature extends its heartfelt congratulations to Our Lady of the Martyrs of Thailand Shrine and the people of the Archdiocese of Thare – Nongseng.

เมื่อวันที่13 – 15 ธันวาคม ค.ศ. 2024 พระสมณทูต พร้อมด้วย พระคุณเจ้าวีระเดช ใจเสรี ประมุขสังฆมณฑลท่าแร่-หนองแสง ร่วมงานฉลองครบรอบ 84 ปี วีรกรรมแห่งความเชื่อ บุญราศีทั้ง 7 แห่งสองคอน ณ สักการสถานพระมารดาแห่งมรณสักขี สองคอน จังหวัดสกลนคร

การเฉลิมฉลองครั้งนี้ จัดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นถวายเกียรติแด่การเสียสละของเหล่าวีรชนแห่งความเชื่อ และเป็นดั่งแรงบันดาลใจให้คนรุ่นหลังต่อไป

นอกจากนี้ ท่านยังเดินทางเยี่ยมเยือนพื้นที่ต่างๆ เพื่อเป็นกำลังใจสัตบุรุษในสังฆมณฑล อาทิเช่น วัดนักบุญเปโตร อำเภอพระธาตุพนม บ้านรักกางแขนสองคอน วัดนักบุญยอแซฟคำเกิ้ม โรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญเทคนิค และวัดนักบุญฟรังซิสเดอ ซาล เชียงยืน

แบบอย่างชีวิตของมรณสักขี แห่งประเทศไทย เป็นดั่งแรงบันดาลใจยิ่งใหญ่ให้กับคริสตชนทุกคนให้ดำรงชีวิตตามความเชื่อด้วยความกล้าหาญและอุทิศตน ทั้งยังส่งเสริม ให้กำลังใจแก่เยาวชนในความพากเพียรพยายามทุกรูปแบบ ในการใช้ความสามารถและพรสวรรค์ของตนเพื่อสร้างสรรให้เกิดความเปลี่ยนแปลงในทางที่ดียิ่งขึ้น

Students from Assumption Convent Silom School and Saint Louis Suksa School visited H.E. Archbishop Peter B. Wells and Monsignor Daniel Tumiel to wish them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The visit was a heartwarming and beautiful moment, adding even more meaning to the season.

On Monday, December 9, 2024, the Apostolic Nunciature hosted a beautiful concert to celebrate the Feast of St. Nicholas and welcome the Christmas season, featuring music performed by
Le Sorella string ensemble.

This gathering was more than just a musical event, it was also a chance to give joy to poor children and young people through the donation of children’s shoes. Those who attended kindly donated shoes for distribution in Thailand.

St. Nicholas has always been a symbol of generosity and kindness. He reminds us to give with open hearts, to offer hope, and to spread love in all its forms, whether big or small.

May his example encourage us to spread kindness and warmth wherever we go not only this Christmas season but every day.
A heartfelt thanks to all those who made this concert possible.

วันจันทร์ที่ 9 ธันวาคม 2024 สถานทูตวาติกัน เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานแสดงคอนเสริต์ของวงเครื่องสาย Le Sorelle เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองวันฉลองนักบุญนิโคลัส และต้อนรับเทศกาลพระคริสตสมภพ

การจัดงานในครั้งนี้ มิใช่แค่เพียงเพื่ออรรถรสทางเสียงดนตรีเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นโอกาสเพื่อแบ่งปันความสุขให้กับเด็กๆและเยาวชนที่ต้องการความช่วยเหลือผ่านทางการบริจาคเพื่อจัดหารองเท้า ให้กับพวกเขา

ทั้งนี้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้มีส่วนร่วมบริจาคเพื่อนำรองเท้าไปแจกจ่ายให้กับเด็กและเยาวชนผู้ยากไร้ ในประเทศไทย

นักบุญนิโคลัสเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของความเอื้อเฟื้อเผื่อแผ่และความกรุณา ท่านได้ให้ข้อคิดเตือนใจเราว่า เราควรแบ่งปันด้วยใจที่เปิดกว้าง มอบความหวัง และมอบความรักในทุกรูปแบบเท่าที่ทำได้ ไม่ว่าจะมากหรือน้อยก็ตาม

ขอให้พระองค์ทรงเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้เราเผยแผ่ความเมตตาและอบอุ่น ไม่เฉพาะแต่ในช่วงคริสต์มาสนี้เท่านั้น แต่ในทุกๆ วัน และขอขอบคุณจากใจต่อทุกท่านที่ทำให้การแสดงคอนเสิร์ตนี้เกิดขึ้นได้

On December 5, the Apostolic Nunciature, together with Bishops, Priests, Reverend Sisters, Brothers, and lay faithful, celebrated the inauguration of the Divine Mercy Chapel in Bang Bo, Samut Prakan.

The celebration began with a Holy Mass celebrated by the Apostolic Nuncio, during which he spoke about the importance of the chapel as a place of mercy, peace, and spiritual renewal. He emphasized that this chapel is more than just a building; it is a place where the community can come together to pray, reflect, and draw closer to their faith.

The Divine Mercy Chapel now stands as a sign and reminder of God’s endless love for us all.

Let us pray that this sacred space touches hearts, strengthens faith, and brings peace to everyone who comes seeking God’s love and divine mercy.

วันที่ 5 ธันวาคม ค.ศ. 2024 พระสมณทูตปีเตอร์ เวลส์ บรรดาพระสังฆราช บรรดาพระสงฆ์ นักบวชชาย หญิง และพี่น้องสัตบุรุษ เข้าร่วมพิธีเสกเปิดวัดน้อยพระเมตตาที่สร้างขึ้นใหม่ ในเขตอำเภอบางบ่อ จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ

การเฉลิมฉลองเริ่มต้นด้วยพิธีบูชาขอบพระคุณ ในโอกาสนี้พระสมณทูตได้กล่าวถึงความสำคัญของวัดน้อยว่าเป็นสถานที่แห่งความเมตตา ความสันติ และการฟื้นฟูจิตใจ นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นสถานที่ที่ผู้คนสามารถมารวมกันสวดภาวนาและอธิษฐาน ไตร่ตรอง เพื่อช่วยเราให้มีความเชื่อศรัทธามากยิ่งขึ้น

วัดน้อยพระเมตตาแห่งนี้ เปรียบเสมือนตัวแทนแห่งความหวังและคอยเตือนใจเราถึงความรักที่ไม่มีอันสิ้นสุดของพระเจ้าที่มีต่อเราทุกคน

ให้เราร่วมใจภาวนาให้สถานที่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งนี้ เสริมสร้างความศรัทธาและนำสันติสุขมาสู่ทุกคนที่เข้ามาแสวงหาความรักและพระเมตตาของพระเจ้าด้วย

On Saturday evening of 30 November 2024, the Apostolic Nuncio inaugurated the Christmas Festival and Holy year 2025 at St. Joseph, Ayutthaya, the ancient royal capital of the Kingdom of Siam. This marked the beginning of the celebration of faith and joy during Advent and of the Christmas season and kicked off the celebration of the Jubilee Year of 2025.

During the event traditional carols were sung and played by the student of St. joseph school. The Apostolic Nuncio planted a pine tree to mark the special occasion.

เมื่อเย็นวันที่ 30 พฤศจิกายน ค.ศ.2024 พระสมณทูตได้ร่วมเปิดงานเฉลิมฉลองคริสต์มาสและปีศักดิ์สิทธิ์ 2025 ณ วัดนักบุญยอแซฟ จังหวัดอยุธยา ราชธานีดั้งเดิมของอาณาจักรสยาม กิจกรรมนี้เกิดขึ้นเพื่อแสดงออกถึงความเชื่อศรัทธาและความปิติยินดีในการมาถึงของเทศกาลเตรียมรับเสด็จพระคริสตเจ้า และ เทศกาลคริสต์มาส และยังเป็นการโหมโรงเพื่อเฉลิมฉลองปีศักดิ์สิทธิ์ 2025 อีกด้วย

ในระหว่างพิธี นักเรียนจากโรงเรียนยอแซฟอยุธยา มาร้องเพลงขับขาน ประสานเสียงตำนานเพลงคริสต์มาสในขณะเดียวกัน พระสมณทูตได้ปลูกต้นสน เป็นที่ระลึก ในโอกาสพิเศษในครั้งนี้

On Thursday, 21 November, Archbishop Peter B. Wells presided at the Commencement Ceremony at St. Teresa International University, Nakhon Nayok.

The Nuncio delivered a congratulatory message to the graduates acknowledging their achievements and encouraging them to use their education to make a positive impact on the world. He challenged them to remain committed to fostering hope and actively enhancing the lives of those around them, as this responsibility is essential to fulfilling their role in creating a better future for all.

The day was an inspirating moment and memorable day for students, families, and faculty alike.

Congratulations once again to the students, graduates and faculty, May God bless you always.

วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 21 พฤศจิกายน 2567 พระอัครสังฆราชปีเตอร์ บี. เวลส์ เป็นประธานในพิธีประสาทปริญญาบัตร ณ มหาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติเซนต์เทเรซา จังหวัดนครนายก

ในพิธีดังกล่าวพระสมณทูตได้กล่าวแสดงความยินดีกับผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา และปลุกเร้านิสิตนักศึกษาทุกคน ให้ใช้ความรู้ที่ร่ำเรียนมาเพื่อ สร้างสรรพลังผลักดันโลกให้ก้าวหน้า อีกทั้งยังให้กำลังใจให้ผู้จบการศึกษาทุกคน ให้รักษาความตั้งใจในการอุทิศตนเพื่อสร้างความหวังให้กับสังคม และ คงความกระตือรือร้นที่จะยกระดับชีวิตของผู้คนรอบข้างไว้เสมอ นี่เป็นความรับผิดชอบที่สำคัญยิ่ง ที่ทุกคนพึงมีบทบาทในการสรรสร้างอนาคตที่ดีกว่าเดิมให้กับโลกของเรา

On November 18, the Apostolic Nunciature, together with Cardinal Michael Michai, Cardinal Francis Xavier Kriengsak, Bishops, priests, and Thai Catholic business leaders, gathered together for the Annual General Meeting and Gala Dinner of the Catholic Business Executives and Professionals (CBEP) at the Arnoma Hotel.

The purpose of this meeting was to demonstrate the Church’s ongoing commitment to promote an economy that upholds human dignity and prioritizes the common good through the support and encouragement of Catholic business leaders.

The meeting included a charity auction organized to raise funds for repairing churches damaged by flooding in the Diocese in the northern part of the country.

Let us pray for our Catholic business leaders that they may always aspire to be moral, just and kind in all their endeavors.

เมื่อวันที่18 พฤศจิกายน พระสมณทูต พร้อมด้วย พระคาร์ดินัล ไมเกิ้ลมีชัย กิจบุญชู พระคาร์ดินัลฟรังซิสเซเวียร์เกรียงศักดิ์ โกวิทวาณิช บิชอป บาทหลวง นักบวช และนักธุรกิจคาทอลิกไทย ได้ร่วมในการประชุมใหญ่ของชมรมนักธุรกิจและผู้บริหารคาทอลิก (นธค.) ประจำปี 2024 ณ โรงแรมอโนมาแกรนด์

วัตถุประสงค์ในการประชุมในครั้งนี้ เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นอย่างต่อเนื่องของพระศาสนจักรคาทอลิก ในการรณรงค์ส่งเสริมระบบเศรษฐกิจที่ยกระดับศักดิ์ศรีของมนุษย์และเน้นที่จะให้ความสำคัญกับประโยชน์ของสังคมส่วนรวม ด้วยการสนับสนุนและให้กำลังใจกับผู้บริหารคาทอลิกไทยเหล่านี้เพื่อให้เป้าหมายดังกล่าวจะบรรลุความสำเร็จ

นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการจัดการประมูลการกุศล เพื่อระดมทุน ช่วยเหลือฟื้นฟูวัดที่เสียหาย จากอุทกภัยในเขตสังฆมณฑลทางภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย

ให้เราร่วมใจกันภาวนาเพื่อนักธุรกิจคาทอลิกทั้งหลายจะได้ตั้งมั่นอยู่ในศีลธรรม ความยุติธรรม มีความใจกว้างในประกอบธุรกิจการทั้งหลายทั้งปวง

On Sunday 16 November 2024, the Apostolic Nuncio, together with Rev. Fr. Wirach Amonpattana, celebrated Mass at the Church of the Assumption Pattaya in the Diocese of Chanthaburi on the occasion of the community’s Feast Day.

During the homily, the Apostolic Nuncio shared a message about the importance of faith, hope, and love, as well as the power of coming together as a community to support and uplift one another.

He also had the opportunity to personally meet the newly appointed Bishop of the Diocese, H.E. Mons Philip Adisak Phorn-ngam.

Please pray for the Diocese and the parish community, especially as they prepare to welcome their new Pastor.
