A 26 de maio de 2026, o Ministro de Estado e dos Negócios Estrangeiros de Portugal, Paulo Rangel, e o Vice-Primeiro-Ministro e Ministro dos Negócios Estrangeiros e da Cooperação Internacional do Cambodja, Prak Sokhonn, tiveram uma reunião bilateral, em Nova Iorque, e assinaram um Memorando de Entendimento sobre Consultas políticas bilaterais, marcando um passo significativo para um maior aprofundamento das relações diplomáticas e uma cooperação mais estreita entre Portugal e o Cambodja.

On 26 May 2026, H.E. the Minister of State and Foreign Affairs of Portugal, Paulo Rangel, and H.E. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, Prak Sokhonn, had a bilateral meeting in New York and signed a MoU on Bilateral Consultations, marking a significant step toward deeper diplomatic engagement and closer cooperation between Portugal and Cambodia.
