During her visit to Don Bosco Technological College in Bangkok, German vocational school teacher and engineer Simone discovered some fascinating aspects of vocational education at Don Bosco.

From students running real business projects and working on actual company orders, to a five-year training programme combining Thai qualifications with German standards, and a project book documenting what students learn and create — there is a lot to discover!

We now know that Russia is responsible for the attempted drone attack at Leipzig-Halle Airport. Russia's repeated hybrid attacks on Germany and Europe are unacceptable and will have consequences.

In reponse, the Federal Government is taking decisive action:
- The Russian Consilate General in Bonn and the Russian House in Berlin, alleged operational bases for intelligence coordination, will be closed.
- Germany, together with its EU and NATO partners, will increase pressure on Russia's shadow fleet
- New EU listings of targeted individuals linked to hybrid attacks will be proposed.
- Entry controls for Russian nationals are being tightened further.

Russia's attack is part of a long series of attemps to destabilize,spread disinformation, issue threats, carry out acts of sabotage and commit aggression against Europe. Germany will continue to respond decisively to protect its population, democratic institutions and partners and resolutely support Ukraine in its defence against Russia's war of aggressions.

โพสต์นี้จะพาไปชมเบื้องหลังการติดตั้งตู้เพาะเห็ดอัจฉริยะพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ ณ โรงเรียนเพียงหลวง ๓ ในทูลกระหม่อมหญิงอุบลรัตนราชกัญญา สิริวัฒนาพรรณวดี จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี โครงการที่ช่วยให้โรงเรียนมีแหล่งอาหารที่มีคุณภาพสำหรับนักเรียน

อาหารกลางวันที่โรงเรียนจัดเตรียมให้เป็นมื้อสำคัญของเด็ก ๆ แต่การจัดหาวัตถุดิบสดสำหรับประกอบอาหารไม่ใช่เรื่องง่าย เพราะตลาดที่ใกล้ที่สุดอยู่ห่างออกไป โดยต้องเดินเท้า 2 กิโลเมตร ต่อเรือราว 45 นาที และเดินทางด้วยรถยนต์อีกประมาณ 12 กิโลเมตร

If you’ve been following our account closely in the past few months, you know about the smart-farming mushroom container we helped set-up at the Phiang Luang School 3 in Kanchanaburi!��After an incredibly long journey from Bangkok via truck, crane, raft and even pushed on wheels, the smart farming container arrived at the school in June of 2026. With a capacity of about 1500 mushroom blocks, we expected around 300kg of fresh produce a month.

Here’s a glimpse into all the growth that can happen in just a few months!��We’re proud to be part of this initiative that brings food security to Thai, Karen and ethnic children along the Thai-Myanmar border. Every child deserves access to food, education and dignified living.

As part of the Kunst & Literatur³ programme, students from Grades 10 to 12 at the RIS Swiss Section – Deutschsprachige Schule Bangkok had the opportunity to take part in interactive workshops with Olga Flor (Austria), To Athena (Switzerland), and Ezé Wendtoin (Germany).

Through literature, music, creative activities, and cultural exchange, students engaged with different perspectives, ideas, and forms of artistic expression while experiencing the German language beyond the classroom. The workshops encouraged active participation, collaboration, and creativity, giving students the opportunity to explore themes such as language, identity, diversity, and culture in an authentic and engaging way.

The Kunst & Literatur³ programme is a joint cultural initiative of the Embassies of Switzerland, Germany, and Austria in Thailand, bringing artists from the three countries to Thailand to promote German language and culture among learners and enthusiasts.

A sincere thank you to the Embassies of Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, as well as to Olga Flor, To Athena, and Ezé Wendtoin, for making these inspiring workshops possible and for sharing their creativity, perspectives, and expertise with our students.

Congratulations, Beatriz Aira Jacob, Thailand's next breakthrough voice on the world stage!

Beatriz is the winner of Falling Walls Lab Bangkok 2026 and will represent Thailand at the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin on 6 November 2026, competing alongside winners from Falling Walls Labs around the world.

Falling Walls Lab Bangkok is part of a global innovation competition initiated in Berlin, bringing together young researchers and innovators to pitch breakthrough ideas in just three minutes. The programme is supported by German institutions including the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD Thailand) and the German Embassy Bangkok, with the global finale taking place in Berlin.

GTCC is proud to support initiatives that strengthen German-Thai cooperation in innovation, science, and business. Representing the GTCC, Dr. Rick Hilchner, GTCC Board Member and Managing Director / VP – Bosch Automotive Thailand, served as a jury member, contributing his industry expertise in evaluating the presented ideas. Our interns also joined the event, gaining inspiration and expanding their network.

“ศิษย์เก่าเยอรมนีคือทูตวัฒนธรรมในแบบของตนเอง” ในงานพบปะศิษย์เก่า ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตเยอรมนี🇩🇪

เมื่อสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา เรามีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้ต้อนรับศิษย์เก่าเยอรมนีในประเทศไทยกว่า 120 คน ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตเยอรมนี
งานครั้งนี้ประสบความสำเร็จเป็นอย่างยิ่ง โดยได้รวบรวมนักศึกษาและผู้ที่เคยศึกษาในเยอรมนี ตลอดจนผู้ได้รับทุนการศึกษาจากเยอรมนีและ DAAD ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการพำนักและโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนต่าง ๆ จากหลากหลายสาขา ทั้งการเมือง การศึกษา ศิลปะ วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี รวมถึงบุคลากรในแวดวงการทหาร ที่น่าประทับใจไปกว่านั้น คือศิษย์เก่าบางคนได้กลับมาพบกับเพื่อนเก่าอีกครั้ง หลังจากไม่ได้พบกันมานานหลายปี รวมถึงอดีตเพื่อนร่วมชั้นเรียนภาษาเยอรมันที่ได้กลับมาพบกันอีกครั้งที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูต!🫰

“Cultural ambassadors in their own right” - Alumni gathering at the 🇩🇪 Embassy

Last week, we had the great pleasure of hosting more than 120 Thai “Germany Alumni” at the Residence of the 🇩🇪 Ambassador.
Bringing together current and former students, recipients of German/DAAD scholarships, residencies and fellowships from sectors as wide-ranging as politics, education, art, STEM sciences and the military, the event was a great success. So much so that some long-lost friends – former German language students – found each other again at the Embassy after many years!🫰

The gathering demonstrated the extensive and active network of German alumni across a wide range of sectors in Thailand, which the 🇩🇪 Embassy is proud to support and looks forward to actively engaging.

"ความสัมพันธ์ที่แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น สู่ระบบสาธารณสุขที่ดียิ่งขึ้น" เยอรมนีและไทยกำลังร่วมมือกันเพื่อยกระดับและพัฒนาระบบสาธารณสุขให้ก้าวหน้ายิ่งขึ้น

งาน CRM Policy Forum เปิดพื้นที่ให้ผู้กำหนดนโยบาย ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ และตัวแทนผู้ป่วยได้มาพบปะแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมอง แบ่งปันแนวคิดและประสบการณ์ ตลอดจนร่วมกันหารือแนวทางที่สามารถนำไปปฏิบัติได้จริงเพื่อรับมือกับความท้าทายร่วมกันจากกลุ่มโรคหัวใจ ไต และระบบเมแทบอลิซึม
โรคเหล่านี้มีความสัมพันธ์กันอย่างใกล้ชิด จึงจำเป็นต้องอาศัยแนวทางการดูแลแบบบูรณาการที่มองภาพรวม มากกว่าการจัดการแต่ละโรคแยกออกจากกัน การเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องจากหลากหลายภาคส่วนได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นร่วมกัน จะช่วยค้นหาแนวทางใหม่ ๆ ในการส่งเสริมการตรวจพบโรคตั้งแต่ระยะเริ่มต้นและการดูแลรักษาที่บูรณาการมากยิ่งขึ้น

Stronger ties, better healthcare - Germany and Thailand are working together to advance healthcare.

The CRM Policy Forum brought together policymakers, experts and patient advocates, creating a space to exchange perspectives, share ideas and experiences. Furthermore, exploring practical approaches to a shared challenge: cardio-renal-metabolic diseases.
These conditions require a more integrated approach rather than being addressed separately. Bringing different perspectives to the table can help identify new ways to support earlier detection and more integrated care.

The forum also highlighted the value of German-Thai cooperation in healthcare. Boehringer Ingelheim being one of many examples as a German healthcare company bringing expertise, innovation and technological strength to Thailand while working with local partners.

By creating opportunities for dialogue and collaboration, partnerships between Germany and Thailand can help turn shared ideas into practical solutions — ultimately benefiting patients and society as a whole.

Discussing the 🇩🇪 creative tech industry at the Touch Designer Bangkok Meetup (Vol II) at Goethe-Institut!

Sweta Kannan, First Secretary for Press- and Cultural Affairs at the German Embassy Bangkok recently spoke at a roundtable discussion on the creative technology industry in SE Asia.

We were honored to contribute thoughts and insights into the DE creative tech industry, Germany as a hub for creators and attracting 🇩🇪 talent to Thailand alongside industry experts Puvanai Dardarananda (Chulalongkorn University) and Waritthi Teeraprasert (CEA) as well as the Bangkok Municipal Administration (BMA).
