Ambassador Puneet Agrawal had a cordial and purposeful meeting with Dr. Anuson Chinvanno, Director of the International Studies Center กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand . They exchanged views on further strengthening Strategic Partnership between India and Thailand, including through enhancing academic and institutional cooperation.

เอกอัครราชทูตปุนีต อัครวาล ได้พบปะหารือกับ ดร. อนุสนธิ์ ชินวรรโณ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ศึกษาการต่างประเทศ (International Studies Center - ISC) ภายใต้กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการเสริมสร้างความเป็นหุ้นส่วนเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ระหว่างอินเดียและไทยให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น รวมถึงการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการและความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันต่าง ๆ ของทั้งสองประเทศ

Ambassador congratulated both the Universities and hailed this MoU signing as a milestone in expanding academic collaboration between 🇮🇳 and 🇹🇭 in areas of mutual interest.

The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), Embassy of India, Bangkok, warmly invites you to participate in a 'Madhubani Painting Workshop' and discover the beauty of one of India's most celebrated traditional art forms by Ms. Anita Bose, Author, Artist, Researcher.

The painting workshop is scheduled at SVCC on Saturday, 08 August 2026, from 12:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs. All basic painting materials, including colours, drawing sheets/craft paper, brushes and other essential supplies, will be provided by the Centre.

Ambassador Puneet Agrawal paid his obeisance at the BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir in Bangkok, on the occasion of the Second Anniversary of the establishment of the temple, on 29 July 2026.

During the visit, he participated in the auspicious Vedic Mahapuja, Annakut Darshan, Aarti, and Guru Purnima Satsang, celebrating the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of India. He also received blessings of P. Munivatsal Swami, P. Prabhuvatsal Swami, P. Pavitrashil Swami, and P. Divya Murthi Swami.

นายปุนีต อัครวาล เอกอัครราชทูตอินเดีย ได้เดินทางไปสักการะ ณ วัดฮินดู ศรี สวามีนารยัณ กรุงเทพมหานคร เนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 2 ปี แห่งการก่อตั้งวัด เมื่อวันที่ 29 กรกฎาคม 2569

Mr Santosh Ram Pratap Singh, Second Secretary India in Thailand (Embassy of India, Bangkok) and other Embassy officials represented the Embassy at the 125th Candle Festival in Ubon Ratchathani held on 29-31 July 2026. This festival marks the auspicious beginning of Buddhist Lent. They also paid a courtesy call on HE Mr Naranong Thepsena, the Governor of the province. India shares strong civilizational, cultural, and people-to-people connection with Ubon Ratchathani that carries deep significance in further deepening ties between India and Thailand.
