เมื่อวันที่ 9 กันยายน 2569 นางสาววรมน วรุตตมะ รองอธิบดีกรมอเมริกาและแปซิฟิกใต้ ต้อนรับคณะครูและนักเรียนโรงเรียนหาดใหญ่วิทยาลัย เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม ณ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ เพื่อแบ่งปันประสบการณ์การทำงานของนักการทูตและบทบาทหน้าที่ของกรมอเมริกาฯ

การเยี่ยมกระทรวงฯ ครั้งนี้ เป็นโอกาสเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจให้กับนักเรียน ซึ่งรวมถึงนักเรียนแลกเปลี่ยนจากต่างประเทศเกี่ยวกับบทบาทของกรมอเมริกาฯ ในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศไทยกับประเทศในภูมิภาคอเมริกาและแปซิฟิกใต้

นางสาวนิโลบล พิมพ์ดี นักการทูตชำนาญการพิเศษ นายธีรกานต์ เศวตศิลา นักการทูตชำนาญการ และนางสาวกวิศรา สุกุมลจันทร์ นักการทูตชำนาญการ ได้บรรยายเกี่ยวกับบทบาทหน้าที่ของกรมฯ ภาพรวมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศไทยกับประเทศในภูมิภาค และได้แบ่งปันประสบการณ์การปฏิบัติงานทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ เพื่อสร้างแรงบันดาลใจ โดยนักเรียนได้ถามคำถามและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นที่หลากหลาย

On 9 September 2026, Ms. Waramon Waruttama, Deputy Director-General of the Department of American and South Pacific Affairs welcomed teachers and students from Hatyaiwittayalai School to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for an activity aiming to share experiences in diplomat work and the Department's role and responsibilities.

The visit to the Ministry was an opportunity for students - including foreign exchange students, to learn about the role and mission of the Ministry and the Department in fostering relations with countries in the American and South Pacific regions.

Ms. Nilobol Pimdee, Mr. Theerakarn Saversila and Ms. Kawisara Sukumolchan gave an overview of the Department's responsibilities and Thailand's relations with countries in the regions. They also shared experiences from their diplomatic careers, both in Thailand and overseas, so as to inspire the students. The students asked wide-ranging questions and exchanged views.

เมื่อวันที่ 9–14 กันยายน 2569 นายวิชาวัฒน์ อิศรภักดี ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้เยือนแคนาดาในฐานะผู้แทนกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ เพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ไทย–แคนาดาในโอกาสครบรอบ 65 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูต และผลักดันความร่วมมือที่เป็นรูปธรรมในทุกมิติโดยได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม ดังนี้

1. การพบหารือทวิภาคี
ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีฯ ได้พบหารือกับบุคคลสำคัญที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับการกำหนดนโยบายการต่างประเทศของแคนาดา ได้แก่ นาย Robert Oliphant สมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรและเลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศแคนาดาฝ่ายรัฐสภา เมื่อวันที่ 10 กันยายน 2569 ที่นครโทรอนโต และนาย Arun Thangaraj ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศแคนาดา เมื่อวันที่ 14 กันยายน 2569 ที่กรุงออตตาวา โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องถึงความสำคัญของการยกระดับความร่วมมือไทย–แคนาดาในด้านเศรษฐกิจ ความมั่นคง โดยเฉพาะการต่อต้านอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติและการหลอกลวงออนไลน์ ความมั่นคงทางไซเบอร์ พลังงาน เทคโนโลยีสีเขียว เกษตรอัจฉริยะ และดิจิทัล ตลอดจนความร่วมมือในกรอบอาเซียน–แคนาดา รวมถึงการผลักดันการแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนระดับสูง และการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรีทั้งในกรอบทวิภาคีและกรอบอาเซียน–แคนาดา เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเชื่อมโยงทางเศรษฐกิจและห่วงโซ่อุปทานระหว่างสองประเทศให้เข้มแข็งยิ่งขึ้น

2. การบรรยายทางวิชาการ ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงออตตาวา
เมื่อวันที่ 11 กันยายน 2569 ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีฯ ได้บรรยายในหัวข้อ "Shaping the Next Chapter of Thailand–Canada Relations” ที่ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงออตตาวา โดยมีผู้แทนจากกระทรวงการต่างประเทศแคนาดา ภาคเอกชน สถาบันวิชาการ และคณะทูตานุทูต เข้าร่วม โดยได้เน้นย้ำว่า ไทยและแคนาดาเป็นหุ้นส่วนโดยธรรมชาติที่มีค่านิยมร่วมกัน ทั้งด้านประชาธิปไตย การยึดมั่นกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศ และการสนับสนุนระบบพหุภาคี พร้อมทั้งเน้นย้ำว่า โอกาสครบรอบ 65 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตของทั้งสองประเทศเป็นช่วงเวลาที่เหมาะสมในการผลักดันความร่วมมือให้เป็นรูปธรรมมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยเฉพาะด้านเศรษฐกิจ ความมั่นคง และการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรี ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับนโยบายต่างประเทศของไทยภายใต้รัฐบาลชุดปัจจุบันที่มุ่งเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์กับประเทศขนาดกลางมากขึ้น

3. กิจกรรมการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างประชาชน
ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีฯ ยังได้เข้าร่วมและกล่าวเปิดกิจกรรมสำคัญของสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงออตตาวา คือ งาน Thai Festival Ottawa–Gatineau 2026 เมื่อวันที่ 12 กันยายน 2569 ณ ศาลาว่าการเมือง Gatineau และการแข่งขัน Thailand–Canada Muaythai Challenge 2026 ณ พิพิธภัณฑ์สงครามแคนาดา ซึ่งกิจกรรมดังกล่าวเน้นการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น โดยนำเสนอความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมของไทยผ่านการแสดงด้านวัฒนธรรม อาหารไทย และมวยไทย

From 9 to 14 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, visited Canada as the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to advance Thailand–Canada relations on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations and to promote concrete cooperation across all sectors. Key activities during the visit included:

1. Bilateral Meetings
The Vice Minister held bilateral discussions with key figures responsible for shaping Canada’s foreign policy, namely Mr. Robert Oliphant, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, on 10 September 2026 in Toronto, and Mr. Arun Thangaraj, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, on 14 September 2026 in Ottawa. Both sides agreed on the importance of strengthening economic partnership and security cooperation, particularly on countering transnational crime and online scams, as well as cooperation on cybersecurity, energy, green technology, smart agriculture, and digital development, both bilaterally and within the ASEAN-Canada framework. They also emphasized the value of high level exchanges, using the momentum of the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations to advance cooperation further. The two sides underscored the importance of the ASEAN–Canada Free Trade Agreement and the Thailand–Canada Free Trade Agreement to further enhance economic connectivity and supply chain resilience between the two countries.

2. Academic Talk at the Ambassador’s Residence in Ottawa
On 11 September 2026, the Vice Minister gave a luncheon talk under the theme “Shaping the Next Chapter of Thailand–Canada Relations” at the Thai Residence, with the attendance of representatives from Global Affairs Canada, the private sector, academic institutions, and the diplomatic corps. The Vice Minister underscored that Thailand and Canada are natural partners sharing common values, including democracy, adherence to international law, and support for multilateralism. He highlighted that the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations presents a timely opportunity to advance cooperation in a more concrete manner, particularly in economic, security, and trade related areas, in line with Thailand’s foreign policy priorities under the current Government.

3. People to People Activities
The Vice Minister also presided over public diplomacy events organized by the Royal Thai Embassy, Ottawa, including the Thai Festival Ottawa–Gatineau 2026 on 12 September 2026 at Gatineau City Hall, and the Thailand–Canada Muaythai Challenge 2026 at the Canadian War Museum. These events played an important role in strengthening people to people ties between Thailand and Canada by showcasing Thai cultural diversity through cultural performances, Thai cuisine, and Muaythai, thereby deepening the friendship between the peoples of both countries.

เมื่อวันที่ 14 กันยายน 2569 นางสาวจุลีพจน์ อิศรางกูร ณ อยุธยา รองอธิบดีกรมอเมริกาและแปซิฟิกใต้ ได้เยี่ยมชมสถานเอกอัครราชทูตปาปัวนิวกินีประจำประเทศไทย และพบหารือกับนาย Sini Michael Namori อุปทูตฯ

รองอธิบดีฯ ได้กล่าวแสดงความยินดีในโอกาสวันครบรอบ 51 ปี การประกาศเอกราชรัฐเอกราชปาปัวนิวกินีในวันที่ 16 กันยายน 2569 ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับการจัดกิจกรรมเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 50 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ไทย-ปาปัวนิวกินีในปีนี้ (2569) ฝ่ายไทยโดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา ซึ่งมีเขตอาณาครอบคลุมปาปัวนิวกินี ได้จัดโครงการมุมกล้วยไม้ไทย ณ Port Moresby Nature Park กรุงพอร์ตมอร์สบี ปาปัวนิวกินี โดยมี Sir Bob Dadae ผู้สำเร็จราชการแห่งปาปัวนิวกินีเข้าร่วมเป็นประธานในงานพิธีเปิด และฝ่ายปาปัวนิวกินีเห็นพ้องที่จะจัดกิจกรรมในโอกาสดังกล่าวด้วย นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเรื่องแนวทางการกระชับความสัมพันธ์ทั้งในมิติการค้าและการลงทุน ความเชื่อมโยงในภูมิภาค ความร่วมมือเพื่อการพัฒนา และการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ รวมถึงเรื่องเปิดสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ อย่างเป็นทางการ

ในวันเดียวกัน รองอธิบดีฯ ได้พบหารือกับคณะผู้บริหารบริษัท วรรณภพ จำกัด ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทไทยที่เป็นผู้ลงทุนรายใหญ่ในปาปัวนิวกินี เพื่อหารือถึงการลงทุนของภาคเอกชนไทยและโอกาสการลงทุนในปาปัวนิวกินี โดยเฉพาะในภาคการส่งออกและการพัฒนาสินค้าเกษตรมูลค่าสูง อาทิ ข้าวและเมล็ดกาแฟ รวมถึงการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์เพื่อการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน โดยรองอธิบดีฯ แจ้งความพร้อมของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศในการสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานของภาคเอกชนไทยในปาปัวนิวกินี และการขยายธุรกิจในภูมิภาค

On 14 September 2026, Ms. Chuliepote Isarankura Na Ayudhaya, Deputy Director-General, Department of American and South Pacific Affairs, visited the Embassy of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea in Thailand and met with Mr. Sini Michael Namori, Chargé d'affaires.

During the visit, the Deputy Director-General conveyed a message of congratulations ahead of Papua New Guinea’s 51st anniversary of independence on 16 September 2026. Both sides discussed activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Papua New Guinea this year (2026) and highlighted the latest opening ceremony of Thai Orchid Corner Exhibition by the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra, which was chaired by Sir Bob Dadae, Governor-General of Papua New Guinea, at Port Moresby Nature Park in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. The Papua New Guinean side subsequently expressed interest in organising commemorative activities to mark this pivotal milestone. Both parties then exchanged views on ways to strengthen bilateral ties, spanning trade and investment, connectivity, development cooperation, and technical capacity-building, whilst also discussing arrangements for the Embassy's official opening ceremony.

The Deputy Director-General also met with the executive team of Wonnapob Co., LTD., Thailand's leading investor in Papua New Guinea. They discussed investment opportunities for Thai in Papua New Guinea, particularly within export sector and development of value-added agricultural product, including rice and coffee beans, as well as human resource development to support sustainable growth. The Deputy Director-General also reaffirmed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' readiness to support the operations of Thai businesses in Papua New Guinea and to facilitate the expansion of their business activities across the region.

เมื่อวันที่ 13 กันยายน 2569 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้พบหารือกับนาย Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสาธารณรัฐคิวบา ในห้วงการประชุมผู้นำกลุ่ม BRICS ครั้งที่ 18 ที่กรุงนิวเดลี สาธารณรัฐอินเดีย

ทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือถึงแนวทางกระชับความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือ ทั้งในมิติทวิภาคีและพหุภาคี โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องที่จะส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการค้าและการลงทุน โดยเฉพาะด้านการแพทย์และยาเวชภัณฑ์ ตลอดจนความร่วมมือเพื่อการพัฒนา รวมถึงในสาขาเกษตรและการท่องเที่ยว

On 13 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with H.E. Mr. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Leaders' Summit in New Delhi, India.

Both sides discussed ways to strengthen the cordial relations and cooperation between the two countries, both the bilateral and multilateral levels. The two Ministers agreed to promote cooperation on trade and investment, particularly relating to medical and pharmaceutical industry. Also discussed was enhancing development cooperation, especially in the areas of agriculture and tourism.

เมื่อวันที่ 26 สิงหาคม 2569 นายวิชาวัฒน์ อิศรภักดี ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ในฐานะประธานกรรมการมูลนิธิการศึกษาไทย-อเมริกัน (ฟุลไบรท์) เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดการเสวนา Fulbright Dialogue 2026 หัวข้อ “Fueling the Future: Energy Security in the Age of AI” ซึ่งกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตสหรัฐฯ ประจำประเทศไทย และมูลนิธิฟุลไบรท์ ร่วมกันจัดขึ้นเนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 80 ปี โครงการฟุลไบรท์ และ 250 ปี แห่งการประกาศอิสรภาพของสหรัฐฯ

ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีฯ ได้ชี้ว่า ความก้าวหน้าของเทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์กำลังสร้างโอกาสใหม่ในหลายมิติ แต่ก็นำมาซึ่งความต้องการใช้พลังงานและทรัพยากรที่สูงขึ้น ซึ่งอาจส่งผลต่อความมั่นคงทางพลังงานและแผนการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่พลังงานหมุนเวียน การเสวนาครั้งนี้จึงเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองและต่อยอดแนวคิดเพื่อให้การพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีดำเนินควบคู่ไปกับการเสริมสร้างความมั่นคงทางพลังงานและการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน

ดร. พูลพัฒน์ ลีสมบัติไพบูลย์ เลขาธิการสำนักงานคณะกรรมการกำกับกิจการพลังงาน (กกพ.) กล่าวสุนทรพจน์นำเสนอแนวทางยุทธศาสตร์ด้านพลังงาน การเปลี่ยนผ่านทางพลังงาน และการกำกับดูแลด้านพลังงาน จากนั้นเป็นการเสวนาแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากหลากหลายสาขา เกี่ยวกับการสร้างสมดุลระหว่างความมั่นคงทางพลังงาน การเข้าถึงพลังงาน และความยั่งยืน

การเสวนาย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการเตรียมความพร้อมต่อภูมิทัศน์ด้านพลังงานที่กำลังเปลี่ยนแปลงผ่านการบูรณาการความเสี่ยงด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศเข้ากับการตัดสินใจและการจัดสรรเงินทุนของภาคธุรกิจ ควบคู่กับการมีนโยบายภาครัฐที่เอื้อต่อการลงทุนและการเปลี่ยนผ่านด้านพลังงานอย่างยั่งยืน

มูลนิธิฟุลไบรท์และมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงยังได้ลงนามในบันทึกความเข้าใจเพื่อวางกรอบความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและการศึกษาอย่างครอบคลุมระหว่างกันด้วย

On 26 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Thailand-U.S. Educational Foundation (TUSEF), presided over and delivered opening remarks at the 2026 Fulbright Dialogue on “Fueling the Future: Energy Security in the Age of AI.” The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the U.S. Embassy in Thailand, and Fulbright Thailand to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Fulbright program and the 250th anniversary of American independence.

The Vice Minister highlighted the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), which has created new opportunities across multiple sectors. At the same time, the growing use of AI has led to rising demand for energy and resources, potentially posing challenges to energy security and the transition to renewable energy. The Dialogue therefore provided an important platform for exchanging views and building on ideas for how technological advancement can go hand in hand with strengthened energy security and sustainable development.

Dr. Poonpat Leesombatpiboon, Secretary-General of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), delivered a keynote address outlining perspectives on energy strategy, energy transition, and energy regulation. This was followed by a panel discussion exchanging views on balancing energy security, access to energy, and sustainability.

The discussion underscored the importance of preparing for a changing energy landscape by integrating climate-related risks into business decision-making and capital allocation, alongside public policies that facilitate investment and a sustainable energy transition.

TUSEF and Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) also signed a MOU to establish a comprehensive framework for academic and educational cooperation between the two institutions.

เมื่อวันที่ 22 สิงหาคม 2569 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ร่วมคณะนายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล นายกรัฐมนตรี พบปะกับชุมชนไทยในนิวซีแลนด์ประมาณ 100 คน ณ โรงแรม Park Hyatt Auckland ในห้วงการเยือนนิวซีแลนด์อย่างเป็นทางการ ณ นครโอ๊คแลนด์

รองนายกรัฐมนตรีฯ ได้ร่วมพบปะพูดคุยกับชาวไทย และให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับนโยบายรัฐบาลที่สำคัญด้านการต่างประเทศและภารกิจของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ รวมถึงการคุ้มครองและดูแลผลประโยชน์คนไทยในต่างประเทศด้วย

On 22 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, joined H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister, in meeting with approximately 100 members of the Thai community in New Zealand at the Park Hyatt Auckland during the official visit to New Zealand in Auckland.

The Deputy Prime Minister joined in meeting with members of the Thai community, as well as shared information on the Government’s key foreign policy priorities and the missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including the protection and promotion of the interests and welfare of Thai nationals abroad.

เมื่อวันที่ 17 สิงหาคม 2569 นายศรัณย์ เจริญสุวรรณ ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ พบหารือกับคณะสมาชิกรัฐสภาสหรัฐฯ ประกอบด้วย สส. Sylvia Garcia พรรคเดโมแครต รัฐเท็กซัส และ สส. Lucy McBath พรรคเดโมแครต รัฐจอร์เจีย พร้อมด้วยนาง Tami Overby รองประธานสถาบัน U.S. – Asia Institute ในโอกาสคณะสมาชิกรัฐสภาสหรัฐฯ เยือนประเทศไทยระหว่างวันที่ 15–20 สิงหาคม 2569 ตามคำเชิญของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงวอชิงตัน

ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีฯ กล่าวต้อนรับคณะสมาชิกรัฐสภาสหรัฐฯ ซึ่งเดินทางเยือนประเทศไทยเป็นครั้งแรก และย้ำว่า ไทยให้ความสำคัญกับบทบาทของรัฐสภาสหรัฐฯ ในการส่งเสริมความเป็นพันธมิตรและความเป็นหุ้นส่วนทางยุทธศาสตร์ที่ยาวนานระหว่างไทยกับสหรัฐฯ โดยทั้งสองประเทศมีความร่วมมืออย่างรอบด้าน ทั้งในระดับทวิภาคี ระดับภูมิภาค และระหว่างประเทศ

คณะสมาชิกรัฐสภาสหรัฐฯ กล่าวขอบคุณสำหรับการต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นของฝ่ายไทย ซึ่งการมาเยือนประเทศไทยเป็นโอกาสให้เรียนรู้ทำความเข้าใจและหารือแนวทางส่งเสริมความเป็นพันธมิตรและความเป็นหุ้นส่วนระหว่างไทยกับสหรัฐฯ ได้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น ในบริบทสถานการณ์ระหว่างประเทศที่มีความไม่แน่นอน

ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือไทย-สหรัฐฯ โดยผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีฯ ย้ำความมุ่งมั่นของไทยในการเจรจาความตกลงการค้ากับสหรัฐฯ ให้มีข้อสรุปโดยเร็ว และการทำให้ความเป็นหุ้นส่วนทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างกันมีความสมดุลมากขึ้น การปราบปรามอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ การต่อต้านเครือข่ายหลอกลวงออนไลน์ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ รวมถึงการหารือเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ในภูมิภาค และสถานการณ์ไทย-กัมพูชา

คณะสมาชิกรัฐสภาสหรัฐฯ ยังได้พบหารือกับบุคคลสำคัญระดับสูงและผู้แทนภาคส่วนอื่น ๆ ของไทย อาทิ รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม ผู้แทนการค้าไทย ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงพาณิชย์ ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการคลัง ปลัดกระทรวงกลาโหม รองผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติ ผู้ว่าราชการกรุงเทพมหานคร ตลอดจนนักวิชาการ ผู้แทนภาคเอกชนไทยและสหรัฐฯ ผู้แทนภาคประชาสังคมในประเด็นการต่อต้านการค้ามนุษย์และการคุ้มครองเด็กและสตรี และผู้แทนศูนย์ Anti-Cyber Scam Center

On 17 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, met with the U.S. Congressional delegation, comprising Rep. Sylvia Garcia (D-TX) and Rep. Lucy McBath (D-GA), together with Ms. Tami Overby, Vice President of the U.S.-Asia Institute, on the occasion of the visit of the U.S. Congressional delegation to Thailand from 15–20 August 2026 at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C.

The Vice Minister welcomed the U.S. Members of Congress, who visited Thailand for the first time, stressing that Thailand attaches importance to the role of the U.S. Congress in strengthening the longstanding alliance and strategic partnership between Thailand and the U.S. at bilateral as well as regional and international levels.

The U.S. Members of Congress expressed appreciation for the warm welcome by the Thai side and were pleased to pay a visit to gain a better understanding of Thailand and discuss ways to deepen the Thai-U.S. alliance and partnership in view of the changing international landscape.

Both sides exchanged views on strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between Thailand and the U.S. The Vice Minister reaffirmed Thailand’s determination to conclude trade negotiations with the U.S. at the earliest opportunity and to promote a more balanced economic partnership, as well as to enhance cooperation on combating transnational crimes and online scam networks in Southeast Asia. Both sides also exchanged views on key regional developments, including the Thailand-Cambodia situation.

The Congressional delegation also met with other high-level officials and representatives of various sectors, including the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, Minister of Industry, Thai Trade Representative, Vice Minister for Commerce, Vice Minister for Finance, Permanent Secretary for Defence, Deputy Police Commissioner-General, Governor of Bangkok, as well as Thai academics, representatives of the Thai and U.S. private sectors, representatives of civil society organizations who work on issues related to combating human trafficking and protection of women and children, and representatives of the Anti-Cyber Scam Center.

เมื่อวันที่ 21 สิงหาคม 2569 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ร่วมคณะนายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล นายกรัฐมนตรี รับฟังการบรรยายสรุป ณ สนามบินเล็ก Ardmore Airport โดยมีนาย Stephen Burrow ผู้บริหารบริษัท NZAero ให้การต้อนรับ ในห้วงการเยือนนิวซีแลนด์อย่างเป็นทางการ ณ นครโอ๊คแลนด์

รองนายกรัฐมนตรีฯ ร่วมรับฟังการบรรยายสรุปเกี่ยวกับศักยภาพด้านอุตสาหกรรมการบินของนิวซีแลนด์ รวมทั้งความร่วมมือที่ผ่านมาระหว่างบริษัท NZAero กับประเทศไทย โดยไทยได้ใช้เครื่องบินของบริษัทฯ ในโครงการฝนหลวงตามพระราชดำริ และใช้เป็นเครื่องบินฝึกของกองทัพอากาศไทยด้วย นอกจากนี้ รองนายกรัฐมนตรีฯ ยังได้เยี่ยมชมการจัดแสดงเครื่องบินและการสาธิตเครื่องบินเล็ก CT-4 ตลอดจนร่วมพิธีลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจระหว่างบริษัท Top Flying Limited ของไทยกับบริษัท NZAero ของนิวซีแลนด์ ซึ่งมีนายกรัฐมนตรีของไทยและนิวซีแลนด์เป็นสักขีพยานด้วย

On 21 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, joined H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister, in attending a briefing at Ardmore Airport, where they are received Mr. Stephen Burrow, Executive of NZAero, during the official visit to New Zealand in Auckland.

The Deputy Prime Minister attended a briefing on New Zealand’s capabilities in the aviation industry, as well as the cooperation between NZAero and Thailand to date. Thailand has used the company’s aircraft in the Royal Rainmaking Project and as training aircraft for the Royal Thai Air Force. The Deputy Prime Minister also viewed an aircraft exhibition and a demonstration flight of the CT-4 aircraft, as well as joined the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between Thailand’s Top Flying Limited and New Zealand’s NZAero, with the Prime Ministers of Thailand and New Zealand serving as witnesses to the signing.
