เพื่อน ๆ รู้หรือไม่ว่าอเมริกาผลิตเชอร์รี่ที่ดีที่สุดในโลก และสามารถหาชิมได้แล้วที่ประเทศไทย กงสุลใหญ่สหรัฐฯ เชียงใหม่ คีเลีย คัมมินส์ ได้ร่วมเปิดตัวแคมเปญ “Savor a Sweet Northwest Cherry Moment” กับริมปิงซุปเปอร์มาร์เก็ต เพื่อส่งเสริมการส่งออกสินค้าเกษตรจากสหรัฐฯ และความสัมพันธ์ทางการค้าระหว่างสหรัฐฯ กับภาคเหนือของไทยให้เติบโตยิ่งขึ้น กิจกรรมนี้จัดขึ้นโดยความร่วมมือกับกระทรวงเกษตรสหรัฐฯ เพื่อนำเสนอคุณภาพอันยอดเยี่ยมของเชอร์รี่ที่ปลูกด้วยความตั้งใจของเกษตรกรในภูมิภาคตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือของสหรัฐฯ พร้อมสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของสหรัฐฯ ในการขยายตลาดสินค้าเกษตรในประเทศไทย ซึ่งถือเป็นหนึ่งในพันธมิตรทางการค้าที่สำคัญอย่างยิ่งในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้
