17 July 2026 : Congratulations to all of the Bhutan team on successfully completing the Trauma and Emergency Care System Training Program organized by Khon Kaen Hospital. I hope that the knowledge, skills, and experiences you have gained during this program will contribute meaningfully to the continued development of your hospitals and the healthcare system in Bhutan. More importantly, beyond the knowledge and professional experience acquired here, I believe we have also built something equally valuable—lasting friendships. It has been a privilege for all of us to get to know and work alongside such dedicated healthcare professionals from Bhutan. My sincere appreciation goes to our hospital executives for their unwavering support in making this training program possible. I would also like to express our deepest gratitude to the World Health Organization (WHO) for its generous financial support and for providing this valuable opportunity to our colleagues from Bhutan. Finally, I would like to thank the staff of Khon Kaen Hospital and the entire Trauma Center team for their dedication, hard work, and warm hospitality in taking such excellent care of our distinguished guests from Bhutan throughout the program. We truly hope that this training marks the beginning of a long-lasting partnership, and we look forward to meeting and working together again in the future. On 15 July 2026, the Trauma Center team of Khon Kaen Hospital accompanied a delegation of physicians and nurses from the Kingdom of Bhutan on a study visit to Sirindhorn Hospital, Khon Kaen Province.
Sirindhorn Hospital serves as a key referral hospital for the southern zone of Khon Kaen Province and is well recognized for its effective management of emergency patients, particularly its highly efficient Stroke Fast Track system.
During the visit, the delegation also toured the hospital's 3D Printing Center, where advanced three-dimensional printing technology is utilized to design and manufacture customized prosthetic devices for individuals with limb loss. This innovative approach helps restore function and mobility, enabling patients to regain independence and return to their daily lives as close to normal as possible.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the management and staff of Sirindhorn Hospital, Khon Kaen, for their warm hospitality, generous knowledge sharing, and the friendly welcome extended to our delegation. Their support and commitment to advancing healthcare collaboration are deeply valued.
