วันที่ 29 ส.ค.69 ศูนย์พัฒนาทักษะและการเรียนรู้ CIC เทศบาลนครภูเก็ต จัดโครงการฝึกอบรมภาคประชาชน หัวข้อ "Chinese Connect" ภาษาจีฮกเกี้ยน โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก นายสุทธิพันธ์ สกุลเทพ รองนายกเทศมนตรีนครภูเก็ต เป็นประธานพิธีเปิดและ ผศ.ดร.วิภาวี ดำมี ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์พัฒนาทักษะและการเรียนรู้ CIC เทศบาลนครภูเก็ต เป็นผู้กล่าวรายงานวัตถุประสงค์การจัดโครงการฯ พร้อมด้วย นางสาวจรรธิรา อัยราคม ผู้อำนวยการส่วนส่งเสริมการศึกษา ศาสนา และวัฒนธรรม เจ้าหน้าที่สำนักการศึกษาเทศบาลนครภูเก็ต เจ้าหน้าที่ศูนย์พัฒนาทักษะและการเรียนรู้ CIC เทศบาลนครภูเก็ต และประชาชนเข้าร่วมฯ ณ ศูนย์พัฒนาทักษะและการเรียนรู้ CIC เทศบาลนครภูเก็ต
การจัดโครงการครั้งนี้ มุ่งเน้นการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านภาษาจีน ทั้งภาษาจีนกลางและภาษาจีนฮกเกี้ยนภูเก็ต เพื่อเพิ่มศักยภาพด้านการสื่อสารให้แก่ประชาชนวัยทำงาน สามารถนำความรู้ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการประกอบอาชีพ การให้บริการ และการดำเนินชีวิตประจำวันได้อย่างเหมาะสม สอดคล้องกับบริบทของจังหวัดภูเก็ตซึ่งเป็นเมืองท่องเที่ยวระดับนานาชาติที่มีนักท่องเที่ยว นักลงทุน และผู้ประกอบการชาวจีนเข้ามาเป็นจำนวนมาก
นอกจากนี้ โครงการยังให้ความสำคัญกับการอนุรักษ์และสืบสาน “ภาษาจีนฮกเกี้ยนภูเก็ต” ซึ่งถือเป็นมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมด้านภาษาที่สะท้อนถึงรากเหง้าทางประวัติศาสตร์ วิถีชีวิต และอัตลักษณ์ของชุมชนชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนในจังหวัดภูเก็ต โดยการส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนได้เรียนรู้และใช้ภาษาจีนฮกเกี้ยน ควบคู่กับภาษาจีนกลาง นับเป็นการเชื่อมโยงมิติด้านเศรษฐกิจ การท่องเที่ยว และวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นเข้าด้วยกันอย่างมีคุณค่า
ทั้งนี้ เทศบาลนครภูเก็ตให้ความสำคัญกับการพัฒนาศักยภาพของประชาชนอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยมุ่งเสริมสร้างทักษะที่สอดคล้องกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมและเศรษฐกิจในยุคปัจจุบัน เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชน ควบคู่กับการอนุรักษ์อัตลักษณ์และวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นของจังหวัดภูเก็ตให้คงอยู่สืบไป

On August 29, 2026, the Phuket City Municipality CIC Skills and Learning Development Center organized a public training project entitled “Chinese Connect: Phuket Hokkien Chinese Language.” The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Suthiphan Sakulthep, Deputy Mayor of Phuket City Municipality, while Asst. Prof. Dr. Wipawi Dammee, Director of the Phuket City Municipality CIC Skills and Learning Development Center, delivered a report on the objectives of the project.
The event was attended by Ms. Jantira Aiyarakom, Director of the Division of Education, Religion and Culture Promotion, officials from the Phuket City Municipality Education Office, staff members of the Phuket City Municipality CIC Skills and Learning Development Center, and members of the public. The training was held at the Phuket City Municipality CIC Skills and Learning Development Center.
The project focused on promoting Chinese language learning, including both Mandarin Chinese and Phuket Hokkien Chinese, in order to enhance the communication skills of working-age citizens. The knowledge and skills gained from the training can be applied appropriately to their careers, customer service, and everyday communication. This initiative is particularly relevant to Phuket, an international tourist destination that welcomes a large number of Chinese tourists, investors, and business operators.
In addition, the project placed importance on the preservation and promotion of Phuket Hokkien Chinese, which is an important linguistic cultural heritage reflecting the historical roots, way of life, and identity of the Thai-Chinese community in Phuket. Encouraging people to learn and use Phuket Hokkien alongside Mandarin Chinese helps create meaningful connections among the dimensions of the economy, tourism, and local culture.
The Phuket City Municipality continues to place great importance on the ongoing development of people's potential by promoting skills that correspond with the changing social and economic landscape of the modern era. The initiative aims to improve the quality of life of citizens while simultaneously preserving the unique identity and local cultural heritage of Phuket for future generations
