On May 26, 2026, the editorial team of the Journal of Health Science and Medical Research (JHSMR), represented by Dr. Somyot Chirasatitsin (Technical Associate Editor) and Ms. Supanich Lertjettanakul (Journal Manager), attended the national forum entitled “Enhancing the Quality and Impact of Thai Medical Journals Indexed in Scopus.” The event was held at Room K102, Chalermprakiat Building, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University (Phayathai).
This major forum was a huge collaborative effort between Mahidol University, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), the Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI) Center, the Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), and the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. We were also honored to have Prof. Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of MHESI, preside over the opening ceremony, alongside top experts and chief editors from leading Thai medical journals who came together to share ideas and insights.
By participating in this forum, JHSMR is showing our strong commitment to academic excellence. We are ready to work closely with key partners to keep improving our manuscript quality, boost our citation impact, and support a transparent and sustainable publishing community. Our ultimate goal? To help push medical and health science knowledge from Thailand out to sustainable global recognition!
