"27 มีนาคม 2569 ครบรอบ 119 ปี วันทหารสารวัตร"
📌 ทหารสารวัตรถือกำเนิดขึ้นในสมัย พระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว (รัชกาลที่ 5) โดยสมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกยาเธอ พระองค์เจ้าจิระประวัติวรเดช ซึ่งเป็นผู้วางรากฐานสำคัญของกองทัพไทย และ ทรงนำแนวคิดการจัดระเบียบกองทัพแบบตะวันตกมาใช้ และกำหนดให้มีสารวัตรทหาร ทำหน้าที่ ตรวจตรา กำกับ ดูแล วินัยของทหาร
📅 ในวันที่ 27 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2450 สมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกยาเธอ พระองค์เจ้าจิระประวัติวรเดช ซึ่งดำรงตำแหน่งผู้บัญชาการกรมยุทธนาธิการ ได้ออกข้อบังคับกำหนดหน้าที่สารวัตรใหญ่ทหารบกขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรก
🎖️ กองทัพบกจึงอนุมัติให้ วันที่ 27 มีนาคม ของทุกปี เป็นวันทหารสารวัตร ทั้งนี้เพื่อเป็นขวัญและกำลังใจแก่ข้าราชการเหล่าทหารสารวัตร ในอันที่จะสร้างเสริมความสามัคคี และเป็นสิริมงคลต่อเหล่าทหารสารวัตรสืบต่อไป
📌 The Military Police (MP) was established during the reign of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). The foundation was laid by HRH Prince Chirapravati Voradej, a key figure in modernizing the Royal Thai Army. Inspired by Western military structures, he introduced the concept of "Military Police" to maintain order, discipline, and conduct within the ranks.
📅 On March 27, 1907, HRH Prince Chirapravati Voradej, then Commander of the Ministry of War, issued the first regulations defining the duties of the Provost Marshal General.
🎖️ In recognition of this historic milestone, the Royal Thai Army designated March 27th as "Military Police Day." This day serves to honor the dedication of all MP personnel, boost morale, and foster unity within the corps as they continue their vital mission of service and discipline.
