Delegasaun Timor-Leste ne’ebé lidera husi Gabinete Fronteiras Terrestres no Marítimas (GFTM), partisipa nu’udar observadór iha Reuniaun JWG-DOC ba dala 54 (Reuniaun Grupu Traballu Konjuntu ba Implementasaun Deklarasaun Konduta husi Parte sira iha Tasi Súl Xina).
Reuniaun ne'e hala'o iha Pekin, Xina, husi loron 17 to'o 18 fulan-Abríl 2026, no partisipa husi reprezentante sira husi delegasaun Estadu-membru ASEAN 11 hotu - Brunei Darussalam, Kamboja, Indonézia, PDR Lao, Malázia, Myanmar, Filipina, Singapura, Tailándia, Timor-Leste, no Vietname.
Reuniaun JWG-DOC ba dala 54 ne’e foku ba kontinuasaun diskusaun kona-ba Kódigu Konduta (COC) iha Tasi Súl Xina. Ida-ne’e hanesan parte ida husi esforsu ne’ebé la’o daudaun atu lori negosiasaun ba oin no apoiu kooperasaun entre nasaun membru ASEAN no Xina hodi jere kestaun marítima sira.

The Timor-Leste delegation, led by the Land and Maritime Boundary Office (LMBO), participated as an observer in the 54th JWG-DOC (the 54th Joint Working Group Meeting on the Implementation of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea).
The meeting was held in Beijing, China, from 17 to 18 April 2026, and attended by representatives from delegations from all the 11 ASEAN Member States - Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
The focus of the 54th JWG-DOC was on continuing discussions on the Code of Conduct (COC) in the South China Sea. This is part of ongoing efforts to move the negotiations forward and support cooperation between ASEAN countries and China in managing maritime issues.
