(English Version)
Peace Corps Timor-Leste and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) celebrated a major milestone on April 22, 2026, with the signing of their first formal MoU, strengthening a partnership that has grown since 2015. The agreement deepens collaboration to support Timor-Leste’s economic development by placing Peace Corps Volunteers within MCI programs at both national and municipal levels. With Volunteers already contributing to MSME capacity-building, data improvements, strategic planning, and digital tools, this partnership embodies a shared commitment to empowering institutions and communities across the country. Peace Corps Timor-Leste is honored to walk alongside MCI in building a more inclusive and resilient economic future for Timor-Leste
