بنزرت هي مدينة تونسية، عاصمة ولاية بنزرت. يتأصل اسمها من اليونانية هِيپُو-زَارِيتُوسْ Hippo-Zarytus. وصل عدد سكانها لـ 114,371 نسمة (إحصائيات 2004). تقع على الساحل الشمالي التونسي على بعد 65 كيلومترا شمالي مدينة تونس العاصمة وهي تشكل أقصى نقطة في شمال القارة الأفريقية.
