✅ Projet de développement d’un système d’information sectoriel pour l’enseignement supérieur et la recherche scientifique

Dans le cadre du développement et de la modernisation du système d’information de l’enseignement supérieur et de la recherche scientifique, le Centre de Calcul El-Khawarizmi se propose de lancer un appel d’offres afin de sélectionner un bureau pour l’assistance à la maîtrise d’ouvrage ( ) qui serait à même d’assister la mise en œuvre du nouveau système d’information sectoriel du ministère de l’enseignement supérieur et de la recherche scientifique.

📌 À cet effet, il est porté à la connaissance des bureaux d’études intéressés qu’une réunion d’information sera organisée en présentiel afin de présenter le projet et ses composantes, et ce, le 06 avril 2026 à 14h00 au Centre de Calcul El-Khawarizmi ( ), Campus universitaire de la Manouba.

📌 Cette réunion permettra aux participants de prendre connaissance des objectifs du projet, de poser les questions nécessaires et d’obtenir une vision claire sur le projet.

🟩e-Twin | Shaping Digital Twins for Education.

📌The purpose of the e-TWIN project is to offers a unique opportunity to enhance the digital competencies and capacities of the MENA HEIs, represented by Egypt and Tunisia, building on the know-how and strengths of EU HEIs, such as France and Italy. It is a three-year project in which academic and industrial partners cooperate to develop, integrate, and disseminate the adoption of digital twin technologies in higher education. The project is accordingly organized into three successive phases-Preparation, Development, and Implementation with distinct objectives, tasks, and deliverables. In summary, the modernization and innovative differentiations the project would make to MENA HEIs involve enhancement in quality of education and better relevance of curriculum to labour market requirements, and reinforcement of international cooperation. It also aims to foster innovation, sustainability, and strategic partnerships between higher education and industry to ultimately contribute to the SDGs.

🏞️🍀 The EQUALCity research project ("Networking Green and Innovative Development Consultation Labs for Equal, Resilient, Human-Centred Urban Communities") officially launches as part of the ERASMUS 2027

📌 program and the "Capacity Building in Higher Education (Strand 2)" sector. It is being implemented by the Technical University of Crete, which is the coordinating body, and will run for three years. The project aims to strengthen the capacity of Higher Education Institutions in the Southem Mediterranean region by transferring knowledge and experience in the area of sustainable urban development. The project's actions focus on advancing teaching staff's skills and comprehensively upgrading curricula across educational institutions in North African countries by implementing advanced teaching methods, enhancing research and innovation, and fostering international collaboration. The European partners will actively participate in developing new curricula and modernising existing ones, with an emphasis on sustainable urban design.

🔹 Through cross-sector collaboration and alignment with EU priorities, EQUALCity offers a valuable opportunity for educational advancement and encourages social inclusion by reducing regional disparities and ensuring equitable access to urban services for all citizens, regardless of their socio-economic status.

WORKSHOP on Cloud Computing and the ELM Platform
January 15, 2026 – Online

As part of its mission to support higher education and scientific research in Tunisia, the El-Khawarizmi Computing Center (CCK) reaffirms its role as a unifying and innovative actor, serving the digital transformation of the university system and its openness to its environment. Through advanced digital infrastructures, high-performance cloud services, and cutting-edge technological platforms, CCK supports higher education institutions, academic and scientific communities, as well as their partners, in adopting new technologies.

Within this framework, CCK is organizing an online workshop on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The first session will present the cloud services offered by CCK, as well as Regions 1 and 2, while the second session will highlight the contributions of artificial intelligence through the case study of the ELM platform – elm.tn.

This workshop represents an important introductory step for participants wishing to enroll in the online AI certification program. Participants who attend the workshop will be invited to follow the AI certification training session.
