The N.A.C.S carries out general supervision over computer systems and networks appropriate to the diversified public and private organisms and is charged with the following missions:
To insure of the ex*****on of national strategies and the general strategy in the field of information systems and networks security. To keep up with the ex*****on of plans and programs relative to computer security i
n the public sector (except particular applications of Defence and National Security), and to insure the coordination between different actors. To establish computer security specific norms, to elaborate technical guides and to proceed to their publication. To encourage the development of national solutions in the field of computer security and to promote them to go hand in hand with priorities and with programs that will be fixed by the agency. To insure the ex*****on of rules related to the obligation of a periodical audit over the security of the computer systems and the networks.
