22. juli 2011 ble 77 mennesker drept av en høyreekstrem terrorist. Åtte i Regjeringskvartalet, og 69 på Utøya.

De fleste av dem var unge. Svært mange ble skadet og enda flere fikk livene sine forandret for alltid.

Det har gått femten år siden vi ga hverandre løfte om å aldri tie- aldri glemme. Vi har alle et ansvar for å stå opp mot terror, ekstremisme og hatefulle ytringer.

Four years of diplomatic service marked by strong bilateral relations, historical ties, cooperation in various sectors including human rights, economic development, and renewable energy, Her Excellency Ms. Therese Løken Gheziel, Ambassador of Norway to Tunisia, with residence in Algeria, expresses gratitude to Tunisian partners and expect continued collaboration under her successor.

A look back at the farewell reception held on 24 June to mark the end of her mission.

His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, received Her Excellency the Ambassador of Norway, Ms. Therese Løken Gheziel, on a farewell visit at the end of her mission in Tunisia.
Discussions focused on bilateral relations between Tunisia and Norway, including follow-up to the Oslo meeting in June 2025 and the strengthening of cooperation, particularly in renewable energy and the green economy.

The Ambassador thanked the Tunisian authorities for their support and reaffirmed Norway’s commitment to further strengthening relations between the two countries.🇳🇴🇹🇳🇳🇴🇹🇳
