Sonic Resilience’ın Fabric of Truth atölyelerine hazırlanırken, iklim dezenformasyonu üzerine yürüttüğümüz bu ortak projenin ayrılmaz bir parçası hâline gelen ATAUM öğrencilerini AB Türkiye Delegasyonu’nda ağırlamaktan mutluluk duyduk.

Ankara Üniversitesi’nden Dr. Feza Sencer Çörtoğlu ve ATAUM öğrencileri, iklim dezenformasyonu üzerine hazırladıkları raporları sundu.

Öğrencileri Stratejik İletişim Sorumlusu Dr. Lale Şıvgın Dündar ile birlikte karşılayan AB Türkiye Delegasyonu Enerji, Çevre ve İklim Değişikliği Program Yöneticisi Christian Ballaro, “Yeni kuşağın iklime bilgiye dayalı bir ilgi göstermesi çok değerli, çünkü gelecek sizsiniz” dedi.

Bundan sonraki adım ise bir stüdyo ve bir mikrofon ile Ankara Üniversitesi’ndeki atölye çalışması.

In preparation of Sonic Resilience’s Fabric of Truth workshops, we were delighted to host at the Delegation of the EU to Türkiye the ATAUM students who have proved to be an integral part of this joint project on climate disinformation.

Led by Dr. Feza Sencer Çörtoğlu of Ankara University, the students presented their reports on climate disinformation.

“It is great that the next generation takes a learned interest in climate, because you are the future,” said Mr. Christian Ballaro, Energy, Environment and Climate Change Programme Manager at the Delegation of the EU to Türkiye, as he welcomed the group with Dr. Lale Şıvgın Dündar, Strategic Communications Officer.

Next stop: students, a studio, and a microphone Ankara University.

AB Türkiye Büyükelçisi Aivo Orav, bugün Ticaret Bakanı Ömer Bolat’a nezaket ziyaretinde bulundu.

Görüşmede AB-Türkiye ticari ve ekonomik ilişkileri ele alındı. İki taraf arasındaki güçlü ekonomik bağlar ışığında, ortak çıkarların geliştirilmesi ve yeni iş birliği fırsatlarının değerlendirilmesi açısından yapıcı diyaloğun sürdürülmesinin taşıdığı önem vurgulandı.

Avrupa Birliği Türkiye Delegasyonu ve Türkiye Belediyeler Birliği (TBB), 2026 Avrupa Hareketlilik Haftası’nı bugün Ankara’da başlattı. Etkinlik, Türkiye’nin dört bir yanından belediye başkanlarını, belediye temsilcilerini, kamu kurumlarını, sivil toplum kuruluşlarını, akademisyenleri ve hareketlilik alanında çalışan uzmanları bir araya getirdi.

Avrupa Birliği Türkiye Delegasyonu Başkanı Büyükelçi Aivo Orav, bugünkü açılışta TBB Başkanı ve Mersin Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Vahap Seçer ile Mali İşbirliği ve Proje Uygulama Genel Müdürü Bülent Özcan’la birlikte katılımcılara hitap etti.

Büyükelçi Orav, “Hareketlilik, özgürlüğün en gündelik hâlidir. İnsanların okula, işe, sağlık hizmetlerine, arkadaşlarına ve kamusal yaşama güvenli ve insan onuruna yakışır biçimde ulaşıp ulaşamayacağını belirler.” dedi.

Bu yılki “Herkes için Hareketlilik” teması kapsamında kampanya özellikle nesiller arası adalete odaklanıyor; çocuklar, gençler, yaşlılar, engelli bireyler ve her yaştan insan için daha erişilebilir, uygun maliyetli, güvenli ve kapsayıcı kentleri teşvik ediyor.

Daha güvenli okul sokaklarından erişilebilir otobüs duraklarına, daha iyi yaya ve bisiklet güzergâhlarına kadar somut değişiklikler gerçekten fark yaratabilir.

The Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye and the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB) launched European Mobility Week 2026 today in Ankara, bringing together mayors, municipal representatives, public institutions, civil society, academia and mobility practitioners from across Türkiye.

EU Ambassador Aivo Orav addressed participants at today’s launch, together with TBB President and Mayor of Mersin Vahap Seçer and Director-General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation Bülent Özcan.

“Mobility is freedom in its most everyday form. It determines whether people can reach school, work, healthcare, friends and public life safely and with dignity.”

Under this year’s theme, “Mobility for Everyone”, the campaign focuses particularly on intergenerational fairness, making our cities more accessible, affordable, safe and inclusive for children, young people, older persons, persons with disabilities and everyone in between.

From safer school streets and accessible bus stops to better walking and cycling routes, practical changes can make a real difference.

AB Türkiye Büyükelçisi Aivo Orav, Göç İdaresi Başkanlığı Başkanı Muhammet Selami Yazıcı’ya nezaket ziyaretinde bulundu.

Görüşmede, göç alanında Avrupa Birliği ile Türkiye arasındaki yakın işbirliği ve düzenli diyaloğun sürdürülmesinin önemi ele alındı; karşılıklı görüş alışverişinde bulunuldu.

Hayatını kaybedenlerin ailelerine en içten taziyelerimizi sunuyor, kazadan etkilenen herkesin acısını yürekten paylaşıyoruz. Devam eden arama kurtarma çalışmalarında büyük bir özveriyle görev yapan sahil güvenlik birimlerinin ve tüm kurtarma ekiplerinin çabalarını takdirle karşılıyor, kendilerine şükranlarımızı sunuyoruz.
