The Ghana Embassy in Ankara continues to advance the Government of Ghana's economic diplomacy agenda by promoting strategic investments and strengthening Ghana–Türkiye private sector partnerships.

As part of this effort, H.E. Ambassador Abdul Nasiru-Deen facilitated a high-level investment meeting in İstanbul on Saturday, 5 July 2026, between senior management of Yıldız Holding and a delegation from Ghana Cocoa Marketing Company (CMC), led by its Managing Director, Dr. Wisdom Dogbey.

The meeting followed earlier discussions between H.E. Abdul Nasiru-Deen and the Owner/Board Chairman of Yıldız Holding, after which the company submitted a Letter of Intent (LOI) to the Embassy expressing its interest in establishing a cocoa processing factory in Ghana to supply its global manufacturing operations.

The engagement focused on investment facilitation, stakeholder collaboration, and opportunities to deepen Ghana–Türkiye cooperation across the cocoa value chain through local processing, value addition, industrialisation, and job creation. The discussions concluded successfully, with Yıldız Holding confirming that a high-level delegation will visit Ghana in the coming weeks to engage relevant stakeholders and advance the proposed investment.

The Ghana Embassy in Ankara remains committed to positioning Ghana as a preferred investment destination and translating strategic partnerships into tangible investments that support the Government's industrialisation and value-addition agenda.
