Welcome to the La Horquetta North Government Primary School. Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for being part of the family.

Serving for over twenty-two(22) years as a teacher and eight years as a principal at this school have provided thousands of remarkable positive experiences in the community in which I was raised. My purpose is to assist students in displaying their true potential in the academic and social realm of life.

As we begin this new year it will be met with new education opportunities as we re-introduce our co-curricular activities along with the continuation of our projects and goals of 2022. Our main priority will always be to lift academic achievement levels. With the support of our very co-operative staff and an active parent body, excellence is expected.

We encourage you to visit and participate in all our activities and become aware of what our children must learn. It is my aim to ensure that every child has a place and a purpose in our school community through the development of healthy social emotional, spiritual and psychological relationships with their teachers and peers in this structured learning environment. Our male student body is of great concern and much emphasis will be placed on this groups. Please note that this does not mean that our girls will be neglected.

Our tradition of excellence in the education is soundly rooted in the Trinidad and Tobago Primary School Curricular, delivered by our highly competent staff who serve to ensure that our students have the opportunities they need to become rounded citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.
