🌟 PEOPLE OF LA HORQUETTA: MEET MS. KATHLEEN BELCON 🌟

For our latest feature in People of La Horquetta, we are pleased to shine the spotlight on Ms. Kathleen Belcon, the talented author of The Adventures of the Slowverse.

An author, creator, and one of the many inspiring individuals who proudly wear multiple hats, Ms. Belcon recently sat down with us to share her experiences, journey, and insights into her life as an author.

🎶🎨 A Special Thank You to All Our Participants!

The La Horquetta Public Library extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in our Pan and Craft Session!

It was a wonderful time filled with creativity, culture, learning, and fun as our participants came together to celebrate the beauty of Trinidad and Tobago through the sweet sounds and rich traditions of the steelpan. 🥁🎨

A special thank you to Mr. Justin Peterson for willingly taking time out of his busy schedule to assist with teaching members of the community how to play the pan. We are extremely grateful for his time, dedication, and efforts in helping to make this Pan and Craft Session a success. Your contribution was truly appreciated! 🎶

We would also like to acknowledge Mr. Justin Peterson for the music featured in this highlight video. 🎵

The La Horquetta Children’s Library invites children ages 8–12 to join our FREE Basic Computer Literacy Classes! 🎉

Designed to help children build essential digital skills in a fun, supportive and engaging environment, the sessions will introduce participants to important computer basics, including:
