With record-high murders and violent crimes dominating the national discourse, the statistics alone are damning and warrant serious reflection and accountability.
Under Minister Hinds' leadership, the nation's ability to address crime has been consistently questioned. Despite repeated reassurances of new policies, strategies, and initiatives, the public has seen little to no improvement in safety and security. Citizens continue to live in fear, while families mourn the tragic loss of loved ones due to violent crime.
National security requires visionary leadership, competence, and the ability to deliver results that restore public confidence. The continued failures under Minister Hinds' administration demand urgent action, including a comprehensive review of crime-fighting strategies and stronger partnerships with law enforcement agencies, communities, and experts in the field.
The government must understand that mere rhetoric and political deflection will not solve this crisis. Concrete action, accountability, and meaningful engagement with all stakeholders are necessary to address the root causes of crime and provide the safety and security every citizen deserves.
This is not just about political criticism; it is about the lives and livelihoods of people who deserve better leadership and real solutions to the challenges they face daily. The time for change is long overdue.
