Typical PNM politics:
when their backs are against the wall, they resort to race-baiting and division. It is an old and dangerous tactic that has no place in a modern democracy.

The comments made by MP Kareem are shameful, distasteful, and should be condemned by all right-thinking citizens.

What is required now is a FULL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION into whether this divisive and inflammatory rhetoric, which has the potential to incite hatred and violence, amounts to sedition or any other criminal offence under the law.

Attempts to distract, deflect, and mislead the public will not change the seriousness of the matter. The authorities must be allowed to conduct a thorough investigation and determine whether any laws have been breached.

Trinidad and Tobago deserves leadership that unites, not rhetoric that divides.

THANK YOU TTPS

Thank you to the members of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service for their outstanding leadership, compassion, and service to the public.

Police officers have stepped forward not only to maintain public order and safety, but also to assist stranded citizens, support vulnerable members of the population, and help people get to their destinations today.

These actions embody the very essence of the Police Service's motto: To Protect and Serve.

The willingness of our officers to go beyond the call of duty demonstrates a deep commitment to the people of Trinidad and Tobago and reflects the finest traditions of public service.

We thank every officer who has contributed to these humanitarian efforts. Your professionalism, dedication, and concern for your fellow citizens have not gone unnoticed and are deeply appreciated by the people of our nation.
