Councillor Henry Awong is serving his third term as the Chairman of the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation, the second largest regional corporation in the country. Elected in 2013 as Chairman, he was re-elected in 2016 after the Local Government Elections and for the third consecutive term during the 2019 elections .

It is with profound sadness that we honor the life and legacy of Mr. Khemraj Harrilal, a dedicated Sanitation Officer who served the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation for 28 years. 🕯️

His commitment to our communities and his tireless work in the Public Health Department have left a lasting impact on our region. We extend our deepest, heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.

May his dedicated service and memory bring comfort to all who knew and worked with him. Rest in Peace, Mr. Harrilal. 🕊️
