Councillor Anil Baliram and Alderman Wazim Mohammed made a visit to the former Preysal Government Primary School compound, where the NPUPS team has been clearing overgrown vegetation and restoring the neglected space.

In some areas, the vegetation had grown as high as the structure itself. The ongoing works will return the compound to a sanitary condition while addressing public health and safety concerns, helping nearby residents feel safer.

Councillor Baliram commended the workers for their dedication and thanked Minister Hon. Khadijah Ameen and MP Dr. David Lee for supporting a programme that continues to improve community spaces and enhance the safety of residents throughout Freeport and Chickland.
