UPDATE: Saddle Road, Maraval

I am aware of the concerns regarding the condition of the Saddle Road and the inconvenience being experienced by residents and motorists.

I have been in direct communication with WASA and have been advised that works are scheduled to take place on Sunday. I am further informed that the recurring issue is being traced to the main line, and efforts will be focused on addressing the problem at its source to provide a more lasting solution.

I understand the frustration and will continue to monitor the situation closely while keeping residents updated.

It was pleasure joining members of the Borough’s Disaster Management Team, on a visit to the Maraval RC School to engage students and staff on natural hazard awareness as we prepare for the rainy season🌧️⚠️

Preparedness starts with education, and protecting our communities begins with awareness.
