Hot weather can be dangerous to your health.
It is important to safeguard your health during periods of hot weather and prevent heat exhaustion or heat stroke!
Signs of heat stroke or heat exhaustion include:
🌡️A high body temperature (39°C or higher).
🌡️Cold, pale, and clammy skin.
🌡️A fast, weak pulse (heat exhaustion).
🌡️A fast, strong pulse (heat stroke).
🌡️Tiredness or weakness.
🌡️Headache.
🌡️Nausea or vomiting.
🌡️Muscle cramps.
🌡️Dizziness and confusion.
🌡️Fainting (passing out).
Follow these tips:
💧Drink lots of water!
👉🏽Avoid strenuous exercise in midday heat!
💧Take water breaks if working outdoors!
🪟Close windows and shutters facing the sun
🌳Keep cool indoors or in shaded outdoor areas
🧴Wear Sunscreen with SPF 30 and above and reapply as directed
