The Division of Food Security is pleased to announce that the Kendal Farm School is inviting interested persons to participate in a Rabbit Cage Construction Training, designed to equip participants with practical skills for small livestock production.
The workshop will commence on Monday 23rd March 2026, at 9:00a.m. in the Conference Room at Kendal Farm School.

The Division of Food Security advises the public that effective March 2, 2026, the price of eggs sold at Government Farms will be adjusted from $7.00 per dozen to $15.00 per dozen.

This decision was not taken lightly. The price of eggs and other agricultural produce sold by the Division has remained unchanged since 2005. This adjustment reflects the significant increase in production costs over the years, including feed and other essential farm inputs, as well as the need to align prices more responsibly with current market conditions.

The Division remains committed to supporting local food production while ensuring fair access
and long-term sustainability within the sector.
