CLOSURE OF OFFICE - TOWN HALL

The Public is advised that offices at the Town Hall at George Road, Mahaica, will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday 26th August, 2026, due to scheduled maintenance works and subsequent power outage by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission throughout areas of Point Fortin.

Normal operations will resume on Thursday 27th
August, 2026.

The 36th Statutory Meeting of the 12th Council of the Point Fortin Borough Corporation, was held on Tuesday August 18th, 2026 at 10:00am at the P.F.B.C’s Council Chamber.

This meeting was chaired by His Worship The Mayor, Alderman Clyde James as he welcomed Assistant Commissioner of Municipal Police (ACP) Wayne Mystar and Assistant Superintendent (ASP) of Police Katrina Kelly - Garcia of the TTMPS Public Information and Communications Unit- PICU.

This visit facilitated meaningful discussions with the Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Victoria Allum; Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Ag.), Ms. Delisha Peters-Springer; and Superintendent (Ag.), Mr. Javis Bajan, all of the Point Fortin Borough Corporation.

The engagement provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen collaboration, and discuss matters of mutual importance towards the continued development of the Point Fortin community.
