EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - CORPORATE SECRETARY

Palo Seco Agricultural Enterprises Limited (PSAEL) is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Corporate Secretary. (Click the link to Apply --> https://employtt.gov.tt/jobs/view/2641)

Job Description:
The Corporate Secretary serves as Head of the Corporate Secretariat and provides strategic, governance, statutory and administrative support to the Board of Directors. The Corporate Secretary acts as an advisor to the Board on corporate governance, ensures the directors effectively discharge their fiduciary, statutory and oversight responsibilities and regulatory matters and acts as a focal point between the Board of Directors and key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) and a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) or Legal Practicing Certificate (LPC) and at least five (5) years relevant experience.
- A member in good standing of the Association of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Trinidad and Tobago or equivalent body and at least five (5) years relevant experience.

Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Company Law and Practices.
- Knowledge of Corporate Governance Practices and Code.
- Knowledge of Government Polices and Applicable Laws.
- Knowledge of Computer Software and Skills.
- Knowledge of Meeting Protocol.
