GUNS…

• Why would any law abiding citizen in Trinidad & Tobago need two, five, ten, fifteen or sixteen guns?

• Why would any Commissioner of Police authorize that?

• Could Ag. CoP point us to the section of our Constitution, the law or legal enactment that speaks to the right of the people of Trinidad & Tobago to bear arms?

• Its been six (6) months since Andrew ‘Solo’ Morris was brutally beaten by Officers of the Special Operations Response Team (SORT); a unit within the Police Service that is ultimately overseen by and reports directly to Commissioner of Police (CoP) Gary Griffith.

• *Mr. Morris subsequently died. Two independent autopsy reports confirm that his death while in Police custody was due to injuries sustained consistent with a brutal beating.*

• How… Why is CoP Griffith still in office?

• Why has CoP Griffith not been suspended pending the outcome of a thorough, transparent and independent investigation into this matter?

• Why are the Officers present at and involved in that brutal beating still on active duty?

• What is the status of the investigation(s) into the brutal beating and killing of Andrew ‘Solo’ Morris?

Corpus Christi greetings T&T...

*National food distribution drive urgently needed; second to preserving life and health, in this moment, is ensuring that people are adequately fed and nourished.*

This position is as relevant today as it was in April of 2020 when we first recommended it; and even more urgent. Our condolences go out to all who have lost loved ones. Wishing those presently infected, a full and speedy recovery.

We implore the Peoples National Movement (PNM), the United National Congress (UNC) and all other political parties to seize this opportunity to work together for the common good. Employ the resources of your election data and machinery.

*You know exactly how many votes you can count on in every household on every street in every constituency. You therefore know who and how many are vulnerable, in desperate need of assistance and exactly where they’re located.*

It is said that “Politicians serve their party best when they put their country first.” Author unknown.

Please stay safe. 😷😷😷

Do it now Dr. Rowley. Economies and livelihoods can be rebuilt. Human lives lost cannot.

Had this been done much earlier on, the country may well be much more open than it is today; bars, restaurants etc might be open today even if only for a few hours; or maybe for pick up and delivery only as opposed to now, not being open at all. Lives, the economy, and livelihoods would be in a much better place had this action to *restrict movement and association* been enacted much earlier. It should now be done at earliest.

It should be clear to the Government by now that current public health measures are not working and that the Covid-19 crisis engulfing us requires a more targeted response focused

If T&T’s politicians, on both sides, focus their marketing, advertising and communication energy with the same enthusiasm they invest in their political campaigns, we’d make meaningful progress in the battle against COVID-19.

People and not politics however, must be their top priority.

Leadership creates culture.

Re: The COVID-19 pandemic... What have countries like New Zealand done correctly and consistently that T&T has not?

The objective of this question is to get us *all* to introspect; government, business, religious bodies, NGOs, individuals.

Hopefully we can get to a place where we *all* accept responsibility.

What could I as an individual have done better and differently before and do moving forward?

What could we as a business/church/NGO have done better and differently before and do moving forward?

What could we as a Government have done better and differently before and do moving forward?

What could we as an Opposition have done better and differently before and do moving forward?

Let us promote and have those conversations.

And oh by the way... Former SORT Head Mark Hernandez has a *nineteen* (19*) year old son who is a member of the SORT. “That’s very interesting...”

Media Release: *Better off with them dead...*

“I will take the risk, right, this morning, on public… on a public platform, right, and I will say that Trinidad and Tobago is better off with those two individuals dead than if they were alive.” Gerald Ramdeen.

George Floyd and Andrew Morris...Sounds Familiar?

George Floyd and Andrew Morris...Sounds Familiar?

Both “resisted arrest”. Both, according to these Police narratives, experienced some medical distress. The Police, in neither case, contributed to their demise.

“It is long past time for the good cops to prove that they are more loyal to the people they are sworn to serve than to the bad cops in their ranks. It is long past time for the good cops to prove that they are good cops by stopping the bad cops.” Lawrence O’Donnell
