On Saturday 12th April 2025, young women across Trinidad and Tobago joined the global celebration of International Girls in ICT Day by diving into the world of Artificial Intelligence at the Tech4Girls: AI Skills for Success workshop.

Spearheaded by the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT), in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, this hybrid event gave participants hands-on experience with AI tools—like text-to-image and voice-based platforms—at no cost to them.

Hosted online and through AccessTT, the workshop empowered girls aged 15 and up with digital skills they can use to shape their futures and thrive in a tech-driven world.

Let us keep creating spaces where young women can participate equally in tech!
