Call for Applications for the Fifth Edition of the GCUB International Mobility Program – GCUB-Mob.

In this edition, 539 Master’s and 350 Doctoral scholarships will be offered by 62 Brazilian universities that are members of GCUB. The academic programs are scheduled to commence in 2027.

Interested applicants may submit their applications starting May 25, 2026. Applications will close at 11:59 p.m. (BRT) on July 06, 2026.

The Portuguese & Brazilian Studies Section (PBS) of the Department of Modern Language and Linguistics (UWI, St Augustine) hosts an unforgettable tribute

The Embassy of Brazil in Port of Spain would like to invite all fans of Brazilian music to attend the concert "3 Mestres", at the UWI, on Friday, May the 8th, or Saturday, the 9th, at 7pm.

All funds raised (tickets cost 200 TTD) will be used to assist UWI's Portuguese language students in travelling to Brazil, later this year.

A Embaixada do Brasil em Port of Spain gostaria de convidar todos os amantes de música brasileira a assistirem o concerto "3 Mestres", na UWI, 6a, 8 de maio, ou sábado, 9, às 19h00.

Todos os recursos arrecadados (os ingressos custam 200 TTD) serão usados para ajudar alunos de Língua Portuguesa da UWI a viajarem para o Brasil este ano.
