The Registration Recognition and Certification Board was formed in 1972 under the Industrial Relations Act of Trinidad & Tobago. The main services of the RRCB include receiving and processing applications for certifications of recognition under section 32 of the Act, processing of Agency Shop Orders, and dealing with matters referred to the Board by the Minister of Labour. s to be the sole authority competent to expound upon any matter touching the interpretation and application of the Industrial Relations Act Chapter 88.01 relating to the functions and responsibilities which the Board is charged by the Act or any other written law. The mission is to expeditiously determine all applications, petitions, matters concerning Certification of Recognition and such other matters as are referred or assigned to it by the Minister under the Industrial Relations Act or any written Law.
